I'm so happy - cannot recommend this doctor enough

I had c-sections for two large babies (first was almost 11 pounds; second was almost 9 pounds). Needless to say, it did a number on my tummy. I'm a fit woman but nothing could fix my droopy, flabby tummy. After our nest was empty, I decided to explore a tummy tuck procedure. It was not an easy decision for me, and I consulted with a few plastic surgeons. I was not comfortable proceeding until I met with Dr. Spies. Dr. Spies spent over an hour with my husband and me, carefully examining my belly and asking detailed questions re: my health and what EXACTLY I was hoping to achieve with this surgery. He and his staff put me at ease ... and Dr. Spies' professionalism made me feel like I was in excellent hands. I had my surgery on 3/30/23. Wonderful surgery center, wonderful doctor, and wonderful nurses and staff. I stayed at the aftercare facility for two nights (I opted for a second night). Again, another great experience. This is not an easy surgery, but it's not horrible. There was pain, a very tight feeling in my tummy area (due to the muscle reattachment), and wearing a corset for 24-hours-a-day can be quite a challenge ... BUT SO WORTH IT! And the pain is very bearable (I did opt for the surgical painkiller that was administered to the surgery site before stitching me up). I took pain medication for 5 days and then weened off to Motrin and Tylenol. I cannot recommend Dr. Spies highly enough. I come from a family of physicians, so I'm a bit picky ... and I can say that my experience with Dr. Spies was exceptional. If you're considering a tummy tuck, make your appointment with Dr. Spies. You'll be happy you did.
