Dr. Z was more than the perfect doctor to do my surgery. I was so scared because I was the first patient of the day at 5 a.m.. He came in full of energy and calmed my nerves by explaining everything step by step and asking if I was ready. Most doctors will be like "I'll see you in the OR". He walked me into the OR himself. Great bedside manners before and after surgery. Would definitely recommend Dr. Z!!

Im doing great had a set back but Dr. Z helped with that and I wore my first 2 pc bathing suit since forever lol. I'll be putting up an update soon.

It's been an emotional and physical rollercoaster with this recovery and swelling. Still have numbness in my thigh but I'm able to walk way better. Some struggles with getting up ot off bed alone. I can take showers on my own now. Yay! My scars don't look too bad either. Now im using some scar away treatment gel. Hopefully it works.

3 wpo 8/21/19. Im beyond happy. I actually have hips now so the husband can't stop teasing me. Lol. I still had a journey ahead of good n bad days but happy that I can see results that I like. So looking forward to getting back in the gym for my thighs n legs. Now my ab workouts will actually be worthwhile. No fighting with stubborn fatty tissues.

I sure will. Some pics coming soon. My belly button is breaking really well. I bought my famous Walmart brand scar away and it's coming along great.

Hey lady. Congrats on ur surgery! Welcome to the flat side! Lol. As for standing upright fully I would say by the end of week 2. I'm an overachiever with kids lol. No but really if you can deal with pain and stay motivated in your journey, you wouldn't even realize how good you are really doing. To this dau I still have my moments like fresh out off bed in the morning. By the time I go to the bathroom, I'm back to standing straight. Give yourself all the credit in the world for taking this step to a new you. I still have swelling so trust the process and allow that sexy new body take it's time to heal.

Thank you so much! You are so motivating. I hear you on the overachiever. I refuse to take the pain meds they gave me and I’m just doing Tylenol extra strength and then switch to Motrin for swelling when they give me okay on NSAIDS. I have three kids and was looking for hope that I could return to work you know work doesn’t care about elective surgery lol. You look fabulous thank you for motivating!

That's what I did. No harsh meds with kids in the house. I try to be uplifting to others like us because I didn't get it from my own family. It's comforting to share my journey with others. Thank you but I feel like I have a long way to go till fabulous lol. I definitely don't have any complaints. Congrats on beginning this new journey.

Where did you stay while you were in Miami? My surgery is scheduled with Dr. Z on February 18th.

Nurse Joseph. She and her husband and staff are awesome. Go to Instagram. I just did it and she came up.
