It’s time to get rid of the mommy flap. Between family and career, I’ve put this off long enough. After several consultations I’ve chose Dr. Gbulie in Mansfield, TX. Post-Op is tomorrow 04/18/2018 with surgery being 04/23/2018. I’m excited and scared.
I welcome any guidance and support on the bet compression garments (which I need to purchase tomorrow). Were you more comfortable in bed or in a recliner?

Thank you. I’m so happy with the results. Three days post op and I like what I see. I’ll post pics tomorrow.

This time tomorrow (2:30pm) I should be in recovery. I’m excited and nervous. I think I have every thing I need post op. The house is clean, laundry is done and groceries are stocked. My wonderful family have scheduled around-the-clock care for the next two weeks amongst themselves. I’m so thankful to have all of their support.

Maybe I’ll get outside and enjoy the weather for a while to get my mind off of everything. I welcome any suggestions and recommendations for post op.

Don’t remember much the day of surgery. I was on the table seven hours. I have two drains in my mons. Really trying to get up and move every three hours. The camping urinal is a life saver. Only taking hydrocodone every 5 hours for pain. Walking bent over is really hard on the back. The hard pain med will be in tomorrow if I need it. Will send updated pics soon.

That’s awesome! I’m going to check out our post. I did a lot of reading and I don’t remember anyone talk about the pain of coughing. I coughed one time and about died from the pain.

Which week was the turning point for you? Were you home the entire six weeks?

I would say probably week 3 was when I started feeling like myself again. But for some reason that's when I started swelling a lot more. I'm not currently working so I've been home since my surgery.

hope you are doing well. Update us when you can.
