Today is the 5 week mark since my TT with MR and lipo. I've had my share of ups and down. I have a very low pain tolerance and it's taken me forever to get off my tylenol and ibprophen. I am still taking just the extra strength tylenol a couple times a day. I'm almost standing up straight and I do get a little nervous thinking Im going to stretch my skin (even though I don't think that is possible. I would still do it all over again. I'm loving my results and I can't wait until I have a couple of months behind me when the swelling is gone.

3 1/2 weeks post op and I'm loving my results. I'm still quite tender in the abdomen and taking either tylenol or ibprophen, apparently I have a low pain tolerance. I'm really loving my results, just wish the pain/tenderness/burning sensations would go away. I'm wondering if it's better to sit a lot or walk a lot, I still haven't figured that out yet.

I'm the same way, burn burn burn ache. By bedtime I'm so miserable. I still take a 1/2 a pain pill at bedtime. My skin on my sides feels like it is raw even though its not. I think its from the binder, I'm still wearing it while I'm home. I wear a comfy spanx at night and the heavy duty one from the PS when I go out.

I wear a compression garment, my PS does not have us wear a binder, I'm wondering if I should get one and if it will help with swelling and shaping? My compression garment is not to bad, but I do know what you mean about the "raw" feeling, right in the belling button area. Yesterday was a bad day, today is better, still afraid to quit taking my tylenol and ibprophen, wondering if I'll ever feel normal again.

I don't have to wear the binder anymore, I can wear a super tight Spanx that they gave me. It doesn't have legs and is not comfortable at all on my thighs. I wear it when I leave the house. The binder is s pain with me having to adjust it all day. so I w say no do not buy one! You're psst the point of needing one

Surgery was Feb 13 2017. Feeling better everyday. I'm still sleeping in my recliner and I had 1 of 2 drains removed. I pretty swollen and wondering if my upper abdomen will say the same or go down. I notice yesterday that I have waist. All in all, I would still do this again. Taking tylenol with codeine every 5 hrs, (trying to win

Hey skinny girl LOL My upper is swollen too but I did also have a BA/BL (redo) I think its normal. Plus I cant get the binder to stay tight up there. My pain is so much better. Im usually not very tolerant of pain. I do feel like I'm at a stand still. Everyone says at two weeks the swelling gets bad. Are you experiencing a lot? It doesnt look like it.

2 weeks ago today was my surgery, I'm not having "lots" of swelling, but definitely swelling, still quite tender however I am cutting back big time on my pain pills, I'm really getting cabin fever and can't wait to go for a drive where I'm in the captains seats. I've bee really watching my salt intake and drinking lots of water, I think that helps with the swelling.

Thanks Joolie, I hope you're doing well!! I would still do it all over again, it's soooooo worth it.

I would do it again too. The really horrible part was only about 3, 4 days. I dont feel ready to go anywhere yet. I'm still a hunch back. I would like to go buy some cotton tank tops to wear unde this binder but I will have to wait.

Me too! My binder isn't to bad, it's a spanx but it pretty comfortable, considering. When was your surgery? How far apart are we?
