48 Years Old and Ready to Return to 23 Year Old Bikini Body!

After harboring and giving life to 3 children, 25 years had past, leaving my once very flat and toned tummy riddled with excess skin and fat that refused to disappear from diet and exercise alone (I am an avid swimmer and regularly engage in strength training.) My husband and I decided that I deserved a mommy makeover (my childbearing years are long behind me.) D. Haque is the ultimate professional, and his staff is courteous and friendly. Although the recovery entailed the expected pain and discomfort, the results speak for themselves! My tummy looks amazing, and I would highly recommend Dr. Haque for this procedure. I will post photos of me within the next couple of months...in my new bikini!

Currently, I am 4 weeks post-op and still in some pain due to the swelling. I feel that my stomach looks amazing thus far. Note: My belly button tends to frequently swell, especially towards the end of the day, so I use antibiotic ointment to prevent infection, cover with a cotton ball, and apply a large band aide to ensure the cotton ball provides slight pressure on my belly button. I feel somewhat better with each passing week. I will warn other women recovering from the procedure: avoid salt and processed foods with high sodium content.

Whoops. I noticed a type above; I meant to write "passed," not "past."

Please don't use Dr. Haque. He is not a good surgeon at all. The surgery has me in reeling pain 10 months postoperative.

Dr. Haque has done an exceptional surgery!

I am now officially 6 weeks out from my tummy tuck and feeling SO much better! My tummy looks amazing, and most of the swelling has dissipated. My scar is healing nicely and barely noticeable (especially once I have a tattoo placed over the silvery remnants. We purchased three bikinis (not to mention half a dozen crop tops) and will ensure my husband takes a few photos to post for inspiration (my belly button is still a bit crusty to capture the full effect.) Moreover, the price for the surgery was reasonable. When the cost is reasonably fair, and the surgeon is talented, (not to mention professional,) I truly believe he is worth your consideration. Dr. Haque is the hidden gem of Charlotte.

Now that I am experiencing very painful and debilitating complications 10 months later, I would like to withdraw my previous comments stating that this person is a good surgeon. He is at a complete loss as to what to do for me. I am worried I will have to live with this pain and muscle spasms for the rest of my life. I wish I would have chosen another surgeon.

nearly 10 months post operative and my husband had to take me to the ER

Deborah15588
For the past three weeks, I have been experiencing terrible pain, swelling, and muscle spasms of my abdominal muscles. The area around my belly button is inflamed and bulging out with pain. I have been to see Dr. Hague, and he is at a complete loss as to what he will do for me. Today is now Christmas Eve, and I went to see him on December 18th, at which time he told me to obtain a CT from my primary care. Because of the extreme pain that I am experiencing, she told me to go the the ER, where they did a CT and determined that the pain is related to my tummy tuck. Now, Dr. Hague will not see me until Friday and will not provide me with any prescriptions to ease my pain or prevent the muscle spasms from occurring, as the ER doctor did. This is supposed to be a platform for the truth. The truth is I would select a different surgeon and not recommend Dr. Hague to anyone for this procedure. My husband is beside himself with worry and will be trying to get in touch with the surgeon, who is currently on Christmas break. I just attempted to post another review discussing my negative experience; however, the administrator rejected it, so I hope this reaches all the women out there even considering using this surgeon. He needs to have a protocol for emergency situations such as this.
