Almost 6 weeks my second post surgery
Every day my body looks better and better. Yes, it is little swollen at the evening, but at the morning it looks great. Also, the muscles feel tight and little uncomfortable at the evening too. The middle part of the scar higher then I expected, but I am planning to fix it later (anyway I can hide in my middle high bikini ). In 2 weeks I can go back to the exercise - I want to lose 10-15 pounds. Sorry for naked photos; the red spot on my belly is from tape and one black stitch will pull out later. Leaving on vacation on Saturday- the best news.
3 weeks post op second surgery
It's been 3 weeks post op from second surgery and 11 weeks from main first surgery. I am getting better every single day and start seeing results from my surgeries. My scar's problem spot is healing too. No exercise yet, but now I can use scar treatment on all scar. The swollen come every single evening but at the morning time my body looks good. Yes, I dress spanx every day to support my fresh spot on the incision and planning to do it for two more weeks. I posted the picture of my scar and it looks darker and has more red color then in real life; also the small dark spot on the middle it's a dry skin. Look like I will ready for my trip in 3 weeks.
Today is 9 weeks post op (and 1 week from second surgery)
Today is 9 weeks from my original TT, BB, MR, and hernia surgery. Also, today is 1 week from my second surgery to fix the complications from original surgery. As I wrote early, I had some issue with the middle area of my scar (actual above my scar ) - it was wound with around 2 - 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. For 2 weeks I was in doctor office every day for change dressing (with different antibiotics). The doctor took test for check the bacteria and possibly infection - the result come negative. Last Friday, at 8 weeks post op, I was in doctor office to put vacuum machine on the wound for one week (and after a week the doctor can stitch the wound area). But plans changed : doctor checked wound and told that she can stitch it now (because it small enough) and no vacuum needed. I was agree with doctor decision. Actually, it was minor surgery around 1 hour long, with a lot of painkillers shots around the wound. I hear and feel everything but no pain. The doctor cut tissue around the wound and stitch again as it was in original scar. The fresh scar (on the old place) is 5-6 inch long. Recovery time is a lot of easier now: I took pain meds only on the first day after minor surgery but again sleep in recliner and walk hitched (for all last week and will the next week too). I did not took any foto of wound, but trust me it was not look good and all. Actually, I do not care any more about how my scar will look like, if I will have belly or fat - I only want full recovery from all of this. I am tired and want to have my regular life style back. I do not know how I can survive with all of this without support from my husband- he is taking care of all house work, kids, his work and me. I do not need worry about what is going on in our house - everything is under his control. I cross my fingers to be ready to go on vacation with my boys on finish June because we planned this trip from December, and if something is going wrong again I will need to cancel our reservation. Last few weeks was very hard for me and every day I can only think: Why I did this TT???? Maybe in two month I will change my mind but today....,,,,,,,,
