The scar line is getting lighter and my waistline is getting smaller. My Doctor said it's looking good and will be even better when all the swelling goes away.

You look amazing and your belly button looks awesome too. What was the total price you paid for your tummy tuck?
You look fabulous Ma. If you dont mind me asking what your weight and and height, also what hotel would you recommend?
Thanks! My height is 5'2 and weight was 180. Clearly the weight part was a little over but because I good vitals and overall health....I passed!
We stayed at the Bentley hotel on the strip. It was a 3 bedroom suite that was needed for my size family that came along. With the location right across from the beach and above TGI Fridays, it was perfect for us.
You really look good.

Waist getting smaller!!

So the swelling has down even more from week 3 now that I'm at week 4. I'm excited to start walking for exercise at week 6. We haven't decided when to get back down to see Dr. Salas in Miami for my post op visit. Somewhere between April 2-22nd I'll be posting about that visit. Thanks goes out to cousin Monae for taking these pics for me when she came to visit and hang out.

Thanks! I did my measurements for the next faja and will post again when it's purchased. :)

Faja has arrived!!!

I received the faja and 3 pieces of foam Monday. The XL didn't fit so they ordered a XXL faja. I also got 3 blocks of foam to place along my sides and stomach to make sure the fit was snug against my skin since it's a size bigger for my thighs and butt. Of course I reached out to Dr. Salas to find out how properly place the foam pieces. He said to try and connect them so there isn't any space in between and not to push it down below my waistline. When I woke up this morning, I could already see a difference in my skin smoothing out from the wrinkles the binder was giving me on the sides.

Still no pain, but I'm also still taking my Advil pm 6-8 hours apart.

Hi, do you buy the Fajas based on height and weight? Also, where did you order it from?
Some websites just want to know your measurements. I did come across one that asked for weight as well as measurements, but that's 1 out of 5. My initial faja came with the surgery price. I am currently looking for one since the first is too big now for the stomach area.
Ok. Let me know when you find a good one please. Thanks
So the faja was included in my surgery price. I did ask Dr. Salas about getting a smaller size since the swelling has gone down tremendously. I checked out a couple places online, and also tried to get in touch with wholesaler. I can keep you updated on the wholesaler portion if you like. There are the websites I was looking at that ranged from $55-$120 for the next type of faja I want with the butt out:

Soo funny cause i was trying to order one prior to surgery and i was like butt out must be for bbl? But now i definitely see why.
Lol right. When I tried on the butt out faja it made my butt look like celleite times 100. So clearly I didn't buy that one
You look tiny
Thank you!! I still have a little bit of swelling left, but I'm hoping it will be gone around the 6 week period.
Where did u get the faja? And what is the foam for?
Amazon has alot of options for binders as well as the full compression garments. I bought one that was expensive and if so you want to make sure to get the one that has multiple hooks to avoid buying multiple.
So the first one came from my surgeon since it was included in the price. He ordered me a XXXL because of my hips and butt. But that left space in my mid section after hooking it up to close. The foams were from his office at $20 a block to put inside the faja around my stomach and sides. This provided pressure that a XXL would have given me if it could get past my hips
This is also interesting for me because when i remove my faja i noticed that it is starting to be very wrinkled and i don't like the look of that especially since i still have stretch marks right there. The nurse right after surgery told me that too that i need to regularly smooth out the skin to avoid wrinkles.
Even now I have lines when I take the Dana off but it goes away in like 30 mins. The tightness pulls me with that after effect waiting till my skin smoothed out.
