So things are getting back to normal. I am back to work, back driving, back cooking, cleaning etc. I have very minimal pain at this point but am still swollen. My incisions are closed so I have begun using the mepitac silicone tape to reduce scarring. My stomach is still numb and my lipo areas are less painful but still slightly sore. I have not done lymphatic massages but massage myself with coconut oil once per day. I am beginning to really like my results as my shape starts to take shape. I continue to wear compression garments (different types depending on my need). I can't wait to get laser removal of my tattoo so I can finally be fully confident in my body again. If anyone has any questions I'm here to help!

Tummy tuck scar pictures from 7 day post op visit with Dr. Lowney. Small vertical incision due to long torso and high placement of belly button. Removal of JP drain was painless. In fact, I didn't even know it was out. Damn that tattoo. It ruins my results but soon enough it will be gone!

7 days post op today! I had my doctor's visit this morning and all is well. I had the steristrips removed, the drain removed and stitched on my back taken out. I have been given clearance to start scar therapy and to stand up straight as much as possible. I can also remove my garment and wear Spanx if I choose to do so. My back is still sore and numb to the touch. My scar looks great. The ugly tattoo left on my abdomen is horrendous but once I heal (3 months) I will begin laser removal (picosure). I slept in my bed in the fetal position for the first time last night and it was heaven!!! I havent taken any pain meds for days now as I am not in pain but rather uncomfortable. I still get tired easy but am not napping during the day. I have been taking arnica Montana, bromelain and vitamedica recovery vitamins along with blood builder to ensure I continue to heal well. Since surgery, I get very cold easy. Anyone else? Any suggestions on scar therapy? I bought silicone strips and silicone tape. I also have mederma and biooil. I will post updated pics later.
