Tummy Tuck

After losing 100 pounds with diet and exercise, I was having complications with my lady bits because of my apron. Spent a couple months researching options and decided a tummy tuck was worth a try even though I’m still 40 pounds from my goal weight. Met with several doctors and decided on Dr. Hardesty. Surgery date 1/29/18.

I was very nauseated and had a pounding headache. The pain was there but I opted to go off the narcotic drugs and the nausea/headache went away.

Had to take out my catheter at home 6 hours after surgery. Didn’t hurt. I was surprised.

One of my 3 drains wasn’t working correctly. Hubby removed it per the doctors advice. Didn’t hurt...just felt weird.

Pain is manageable with Tylenol and Advil. My back is getting very sore from the lack of activity and the tightness in the front. The drains are very cumbersome and at times painful.
