Update photo of Fleur De Lis TT with MT
This is an update photo of my procedure done 2/15/2017 about 3 1/2 weeks after the procedure. It took me a long time (a whole year) to even muster up the courage and post this photo because my body is not even close where I want it to be. I still have many parts of me that I dislike while undressed but when I have my clothes on I feel like "I'M KILLING IT!". Going from being such a heavy set female to dropping weight so rapidly has left me with many unflattering parts on my body. I had a few set backs with this procedure nothing that has to do with the doctors technique nor results but me dealing with life, personal matters and not being able to fully relax to allow healing to take place I had 2 infections around the incision areas, fluid build up/ draining with pus from were the incision meets near the pubic area. It left me with a triangle looking scar right above my pubis mound. Not so flattering BUT who cares, I should but it doesn't bother me. I still have some tingling, numbness right under my belly button it may be a result from suffering those 2 infections which also left me with minor fat necrosis near the pubis mound where I have my little triangle scar. ALL in ALL so far in pleased.
Update: My surgery day came and went.…
Update:
My surgery day came and went. February 15 I became a brand new member to the FLAT SIDE. Days 1-2: was a little of a blur. I slept a lot due to the pain meds and muscle relaxers. Day 3-4: much better. Decreased the pain meds and been walking much more. Able to stand a bit straight and walk a bit faster. Day 5: I had enough of my recliner, four walls and my cabin fever blues. I decided to slowly get in the car and drive down the street to buy a few things (I know its something I shouldn't do). It felt great but I was glad to be home.
My thoughts on my first FULL view of my flat side: it was an amazing feeling to finally see my waist without the compression garment (which I hate). I'm healing well. Sutures are dry and looking great. Drains are still in and are draining less every day.
More updates to come:
February 22 I'll be meeting with my surgeon. Hopefully my drains come out during this visit and maybe I can finally find out How much skin came off me.

34 yr old mommy makeover (Fleur de Lis/ MT/ Lipo) after kids and Gastric
Hello Everyone. I thank all who have shared their stories NOW it's MY turn.
After having my first child I gain a massive amount of weight. I was 140lbs before children and after my first born I went up to the 200s. I had more children after that and toped my weight at 278lbs. September 2011 I went in for Gastric bypass after years of struggling with my weight on yo-yo diets and being ridiculed by numerous amounts of people (as I didn't suffer enough seeing myself in the mirror). In 9 months I was at my lowest weigh that I have ever been (118lbs) and loved every minute of it. A year after Gastric I got pregnant with twins and gained some weight back. After my twin delivery I weighed in at 170lbs and have been stable at that weight for about 2 years. I loose 5-8lbs and go up and down like a little yo-yo. Finally after a little over 5 yrs I've decided to pursue having surgery and making myself happy to stand in front of a mirror again. My surgery is scheduled for February 15, 2017 and I'm only 1 day away from surgery and the nerves haven't kicked in yet. I will be having a fleur de Lis abdominoplasty with muscle tightening and some Lipo on the back flanks. I feel excited and anxious. I can't wait to have it down and see the final results.
** Updates will be posted after surgery once I'm awake and well.
