I did extensive research for YEARSSSSS! I have wanted a tummy tuck for literally years. I had 3 different consultations over a period of 5 years! I keep getting cold feet! Now I'm scheduled for March 27th for a full tummy tuck and a BBL with Dr.Jason Leedy. I am soooo scared! I feel like I'm going to die! I'm extremely scared of the pain! I feel like my anxiety is going to kill me. I want this done so bad but I feel like I won't be able to handle the pain. Please someone give me some advice! I don't know what to do at this point. I've done diets, exercises, and still my body is disgusting. Should I lose more weight? Should I do it on my own? I'm so lost. I'm getting scared again ????

Just breath and stay calm.  We all go through the nerves prior to surgery, which is normal.  Try not to over think or it will make you crazy.  The post op pain is all temporary and will be managed with medications.  The first week is the worst and you will notice changes after that. You can do this!    Join in the Forums where you will find wonderful support.

Thank you! I have so much going on! I just want to do it and be done. How bad is the pain?

The first week is not fun, however it's all temporary and the pain medications will help.  Each person is different as well.   You can do this!

Like what does the pain feel like? Some girls said they couldn't breathe. Like it felt they were wearing a girdle. Some girls said the pain was excrutiating. Like do you cry and wish for death? Like how horrible is it?

You will go through waves of different pain.  You do feel very tight at first, but remember feeling tight after a tummy tuck is a good thing.  That means all of the muscles are repaired and back where they need to be.  You can breath, but you won't be taking any deep breaths that first week.  My doctor had given me Xanax to take the first week which was of great help.   I honestly had more pain in the areas I had the lipo done.  That feels like a burning sensation.  And then when I got constipated that was the worst ever!   If you take the pain medications on time and around the clock the first 4-7 days it really helps.   Each person experiences pain differently so try not to get totally focused on that.  The pain is all temporary and will come to an end.  The results are worth it and I would do it all over again if necessary.    You are going to be fine:)

I was crippled by fear last year, my surgery was scheduled gor March 28 2017. Icouldnt go through with it. The regret and the what if consumed me. So I decided that I am doing this no MATTER what! I pray that God watches over me and brings me back to my babies. My worst fear us dying on the table and being labeled vain. Which is far from what I am! Prayer ya'll. I'm doing this!
