I had a tummy tuck after multiple pregnancies to remove extra skin. I had my tummy tuck Dec 2nd in Boston. I was 162lbs the time of surgery I am 155lbs now. Overall I like my shape after and my results are coming along well. Healing has been a pain in the butt I developed a seroma which happens to be a common surgical complication no fault of mines or the surgeon. That has slowed down my healing abit more of a nusense than anything. I would say the recovery painwise was a breeze I had minimal bruising from flank and back lipo. I feel great physically. Mentally recovery is a mental game at times, you have to be patient. Overall I would give my review 5stars in every area I would like a bit more attentiveness and advice on post op care especially with the cosmetic surgical filed being so foreign to me

I have had my six month follow up It appears my seroma has resolved. I do have excess fat and skin on my abdomen and dog ears. The dog ears alter my appearance in clothes abd look horrible when naked and sitting. Im not sure if additional lipo will increase the looseness help my skin retract. I was advised to wait a year for revisions.

How you know if you have a seroma?

Waterbed like effect when you poke yourself you can find videos on YouTube. Best diagnosis would be by ultrasound

Had to redo the entire tummy tuck abd muscle repair with a new surgeon I was told to wait a year from Dr. Ds office before they would even consider a revision. Another 11,000 later I finally have optimal amazing results. My entire abdomen had seroma capsule abd ny surgeon said it was the largest he ever removed.

Holy crap! Did you have a seroma because they didn't have a drain or removed it too early? As soon as the seroma was there your surgeon should've been draining it manually at least every day or every other day. That's how it became encapsulated. That's horrible! I would try seeking some of your money back from the original doctor. I've read his reviews and he's horrible!
