One year after - update

WORTH IT
Here’s an update after one year. Best decision I have ever made. Very happy with the results. There’s still numbness but a lot less. I feel it more when I stretch my arms above my head. Aside from when I had exercise restrictions I’ve continued to exercise at same level. Continue to eat healthy. I believe it is important to have a healthy lifestyle to retain all the “gains”. When I took the pics I was surprised at the side view because I think I’m more flat now than ever before :-) for those considering doing this - I highly recommend it. For those that shave already done it - keep up the good work!!!

Awesome! She’s my doctor too and I love her work! What did you use for scar care? Such a big improvement from 3 mos post-op to 8 months post-op!
Bio oil $19 on Amazon amazing stuff I slather it over my entire body!
Good to know. My scar has faded on its own. When I suntan I’ve made sure that part gets its share of sun too and that just looks as part of my bikini line :)
She told me to use coconut oil and to not waste my money on scar care products. She’s amazing!
Awesome! Thanks! I’m only 1.5 weeks post-op and am glad I can stop worrying about ordering unnecessary stuff from Amazon haha!
Thank you for your post. I had my TT today. Your before pic is similar to mine. You look great! It was encouraging. I wish I could fast forward a year, lol
It should be good. Probably by month three you will start feeling abs looking better! Best wishes to you :-)
Thank you!

11 months after procedure update

I haven’t posted in a while but it has been 11 months since the procedure and still a satisfied customer :-) I continue to exercise at the same level as before but did add a yoga and a swimming class once per week to balance the regular weight workouts. Also about a month ago I started a program called PowerAbs. They encourage you to take pics at day 1 and they 30 and here are the results. My abs feel tighter than ever. I bought now the PowerAbs 2 and once I finish that I can do their third program. Only 10 minutes a day, five days a week. My weight continues to maintain around 118-120. I am now on year two of only drinking water and I am really used to it by now. That was not the case before so know it is possible. If you can, see a nutritionist. I did and that was also a game changer. That was about a year BEFORE the procedure.
I am still numb around the incision area but I’m used to it by now. Not sure if that ever goes away. I feel great. I wear a lot of crop tops now LOL
For those about to start the journey - start walking as soon as your doctor tells you to (even if it feels weird) and continue a healthy diet and exercise program.

You look great.
You look amazing, well done. I'm 3.5 weeks post op and already so loving the results, can't wait for the swelling to stop, that tightness to relax and to get get exercising again. Thankfully we are heading into out winter months here (Australia) so great to hibernate and get through it.
Congrulations - keep wearing the crop tops!
Hope you are feeling much better by now. Glad to hear you love your results :-)
That’s great to hear that you are recovering now. For me it was perfect when this was done during covid and us working from home. I didn’t have to worry about anything. Nobody is the wiser
I am just starting my journey. I had my tummy tuck yesterday. I have more pain than I expected. Standing and walking really hurts even with the pain meds……. Please tell me this gets better soon!!!
Yes! It does. I know it hurt, but do get up and walk around the house. As soon as the doctor tells you that you can do a little more, start walking around your neighborhood. The first time I went outside for a longer walk, I felt like I was walking with a hunchback, as it felt that I was pulled forward....but from what my friend said, that was not the case, it was just how I felt. One of my very early posts had all the info on this as to when I started walking more. As of now, I am still numb in some areas and still feel tight, but that has improved with time (and I am now 1 year and a half post surgery). Just do everything the doctor tells you and you should be fine.
You Look Amazing! I can't wait get to book my surgery this week!
Congrats!! You won’t regret. I still look the same - keeping that up with exercise and good eating habits :-) Good luck! You will be sore at first but that is well worth it!

8 months post

5 months and loving it

I haven’t posted in a while. The pics are right at five months I just didn’t get to posting. Everything is perfect. I have been back to normal for maybe two months working out hard at the gym as I like to.
I still have numbness in the belly button to incision area but maybe like 30% compared to what it was before. Yoga helps with the stretching and feels good - I do it once a week.
Not much else. Will post at six months again. Good luck to you all!

You look incredible! Did you have lipo too or just TT? I just had TT with a tiny bit of lipo at the end of the incision to avoid dog ears, but I feel like my hips and thighs have gotten bigger, despite weight loss. Did you have any thigh swelling?
Hi! Congratulations on your procedure!! I did not have lipo, just the TT. I did not have thigh swelling, just a little on the bottom abs and that was it...it is now 7 months and everything is staying in its place :-)
When you say your hips and thighs have gotten bigger, would they maybe just look bigger because of your waist having reduced? Sometimes we are our worst critics. I would be looking at myself every 15 minutes initially but now I am used to it.
