How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

3 months post op

Getting back to real life and sometimes pushing myself harder than I should but I haven't done any irreparable damage.
My entire incision is finally closed and starting to fade. I will start scar treatment with in the next few weeks. I am debating starting the treatment after my 2nd surgery, on Nov 10th, So I don't cross contaminate the new incisions on breasts and arms.
I have zinging pains like a hot needle being plunged in to my hips, butt and thighs every so often, Dr says it is the nerves waking up and nothing to worry about.
Still have bouts of bloating/swelling but as long as I use my compression all day and watch my sodium intake it isn't too bad. I do give myself a rest from the binders and shapewear at night and have found a great postpartum brief, from Leonisa on Amazon, that I can manually adjust with velcro to tighten or loosen as I need to. I do still prefer pretty tight compression, it makes me feel really secure.
I think I am now to the point of having to take control of my abdominal destiny and start sculpting my stomach how I want it, the Doc can only do so much!
Hope this is helping someone out there. I will continue to update. I may find a way to connect this review with my next 2 procedures also so you can see the complete transformation.

let's try to load this pic again.

8 week pic of open wound on back. I forgot to add this pic with update. It is looking so much better. It itches like crazy though!! Dr. Bohley gave me a second tube of Silvadine cream at my last appointment and I just keep using it on the wound 2-3 times/day.

If I could give Dr. Bohley and his staff 25 stars I would. From the beginning they have always made me feel welcome & at ease, taken all of my questions seriously & given me honest answers & input. Dr. Bohley has never rushed me out of an appointment, he has always stayed to be sure I am completely satisfied and have every concern answered to my satisfaction. My TT scar is so low & dare I say "perfect!" He exceded my expectations in every single way. I can not thank him enough. I already scheduled a 2nd surgery for a few months out. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Bohley & staff, you truly are helping this woman's dream come true.
