I had been researching for years and no matter how much I worked out or what diet I’ve tried my gut and love handles would remain t same! So two years after my second child I feel I was finally ready for a less invasive treatment. Ideally I know I need a tummy tuck with a BL but I’m not for sure finished with children and I’m not 30 yet. So I went for Tumescent Lipo! I am day 2 post op!!! Here is my journey....

Thanks for sharing! I’m scheduled to do the same areas in a couple of weeks. You said you had a lot of swelling in the vaginal area. Did you also have that done, or just a side affect of the other areas?

I didn’t have it done but he went in at my c section area so it was swollen for about 2 days

Ok, gotcha!
One more question... I’ve only planned to take 2 days off work. Do you think that’s too little time for initial recovery?

What kind l work do you do? If you don’t mind me asking. If you can take breaks and kind of sit back or upright instead of slouching it makes a big difference. I just ordered foam to put under my plantias (boards) bc it hurts not intolerable just very uncomfortable I’m taking the pain meds before bed to at least give my body rest. Honestly if you can do 3-4 of just resting and light waking that would probably be best.

I guess it’s more like a hard work out so my upper body is really sore and my abs feel unstable. They took out 1330ccs which the dr said is 7lbs of fat!!

I’m a dental assistant so lots of different movements with my upper body, and in and out of my chair.
7lbs??? That is awesome!

I got my procedure on a Friday and was back to work Monday. I’m an hairstylist so it’s been trying on my body. My back and flanks are so sore from getting up, driving, along down.. anyone have tips?? I’m about to order foam to put underneath my boards... I don’t wanna Medicare but it hurts!! Any advice? I’m also king to order a jade roller bc my massage lady uses it. It feels so good!!

I just had lipo done on my abs, flanks, inner thigh with transfer to breasts on Jan 11th. I totally get what you are saying about sore! I am not using boards, just compression garment per ps. Did your ps give you the boards? Be careful with the foam. When I used it, it left indentations on my skin where it ended. I ended up using rolled cotton from CVS. Very soft and didn’t leave marks. My CG has side zippers that we’re digging in my skin so the cotton helped. Just ordered a new garment in a smaller size without the zippers, but still an open crotch area. How long did your ps recommend you wear your garment?

Minds was Jan 11 too! He told me to get ab and sideboards. I had tumescent lipo. He really didn’t have much advice my garmet is 2xl it’s so big at he top some women are saying their dr recommend them wearing tighter garments. Which type do yours recommend. They did a few weeks in this one and hen Spanx. Also are you getting knots? I’ve heard tighter cg makes that happen less.:-( It’s so hard when the dr isn’t as helpful adter

So I am older than you, I have two kids that are 19 and 13. My PS told me to wear the garment for six weeks but because I’m older, I’m going to wear it the full 12 weeks, three months. I did a review of my tumescent Lipo with transfer to breast on here on. I will be 2 weeks this Friday and just ordered new garments in a size smaller which I will start wearing by Friday when they arrive. I think it’s normal to be bigger in the beginning because your swollen still. If your garment is big, you should think about getting it in a smaller size. It will help with contouring and your skin adhering back. I use the Merena brand. It is an excellent brand. I ordered the new garment without the zippers (stage 2) and also a garment that goes from mid thigh up to right below my breasts. I also just ordered a lipo board on Amazon, even though my surgeon did not recommend it to me. I am starting to see more bumps and irregularities on my stomach and can feel real penis in my flanks where he perform the Lipo. I am getting lymphatic massages a couple of days a week from a massage therapist who was trained in Columbia. She assured me that that was totally normal and just keep massaging at least twice a day on all your areas. I also have ordered a scar cream that I plan on starting to use on my incisions as soon as my scabs fall off. Right now I’m just putting vitamin E oil on them twice a day.

OMG, sorry_ just realized my ipad auto correct it with a bad word! I meant to say I could feel the ropiness in my sides and flanks from the cannula. I meant to also say the ab board I ordered has attached side boards to it.

I can't find your surgeon. Is he board certified? Is the last name spelled correctly?

It was hard finding him. I don’t think he’s bored certified. http://www.labodysculpture.com/ here is the site
That's great - thanks for the pics! Glad to hear the massage really helped :)
