Lipo- upper/lower abs, bra roll, inner/outer thighs

Lipo upper, lower abs; inner outer thighs, bra roll

My lower Ab had the look of a pouch (I thought) and my thighs were growing saddle bags. I’d promised myself for years that I would have lipo of thighs and lower abs once I built of the courage to undergo surgery. I finally did it on June 4, 2018. I am 4 weeks post op. Swelling has decreased significantly in all areas (I think). My main concern now is inner thigh and abs. My inner thigh and abs look the same. I know that I have lost weigh, per the scale but the pouch is still there and the slab of the inner thigh remains. There is a crease between upper and lower ab And the upper ab protrudes a little. I will say that the saddle bags are gone and the back of my thighs look awesome compared to what they use to look like. He bra roll is gone as well.

Regarding pain, I only felt pain the first week. I am so afraid of opioid addiction that I would t allow myself to take the Norco as frequently as I could, and I must say I tolerated the pain well. Week 2 was more discomfort than anything. I went back to work after 1 week and sitting in that garment was very uncomfortable. I commute 1 hr for work each way so that was torturous. I ordered the lipo foam for comfort although my PS never mentioned it. It helped a little.  I have been wearing the garments (design Veronique) provided by my PS but I plan to purchase a stage 2 garment this week. Sometimes I wear a high waste Spanx with a waste cincher for full compression effect. I alternate between that and the garments because the garment has a zipper on each size and it causes my stomach to bunch up when sitting (very uncomfortable).

Thank you for your feedback. At one month post op you are still going though a healing process with scar tissue formation and fluid shifts. At 3-6 months out you will see more of the final results of the liposuction. I would recommend sticking to follow up appointments to evaluate your progress as well as call the office anytime to voice concerns. We are always available for you to be seen.
ORIGINAL POST

Lipo- upper/lower abs, bra roll, inner/outer thighs

I’ve had a pushy lower ab since high school and wanted it gone. Also developed saddle bags over the past yr. inner thighs were not appealing to me.

At 4 wks post op, im not impressed with my abs or inner thighs. Not sure what’s going on. I thought I should see the true shape of my abs and inner thigh areas just as I noticed the bra roll and saddle bags were gone at 3 days post op.

I would really hate to have a revision - as it took several yrs for me to gain the courage to go through with lipo.
