Tummy Tuck Revision After Fat Necrosis - Tulsa, OK

Today, I had my abdominoplasty revision surgery. I had a tummy tuck on February 5th of this year, and developed fat necrosis. Today, my surgeon went back into the area, removed the hard scar tissue, and reconstructed my scar by pulling the upper and lower skin of my abdomen together and resecting them. I am only a few hours post op, but I can already tell that my scar feels better, and the results will be great. I am not having a lot of pain, due in part to the fact that all of my abdominal skin above my incision is pretty much still numb from my original surgery. I am feeling a few twinges of pain on the bottom part of my new incision, but nothing terrible. Once I am able to take my bandages off, I will post some pictures.

One Week Post Op
I had a follow up with my doctor today, and he says everything is healing perfectly. The incision looks great, there is no redness or signs of fluid buildup, and I feel relatively well for being only a week after surgery. I am still very swollen, which is the most miserable part of the whole ordeal. I will post some more pictures when the swelling goes down some.

How long did it take for your necrosis to heal? Im dealing with that now, wish it would heal more quickly! Lol but happy overall with my results.
