one week!

I've finally made it one week, and I feel pretty good! I quit taking per cocktail Sunday night, and I haven't even been taking tylenol. I'm a little sore around my incisions, mainly my breasts, but my tt incision itches so so bad! I know it's healing, and it looks so good! I went for my 1 week post op yesterday, and the nurse removed some of my bb stitches, but left 3 or 4 in, because they were in my scabs, so she will take them out at my 3 week appt. I can almost stand upright, but when I start walking, I tend to hunch over more. It was hard getting pics, and I was so excited at my appt., I didn't get one of my tt scar without tape. She changed the tape, so I can't take a scar pic for another 4 days. My boobs have definitely become more alive. My nipples are super sensitive, and the sides and crease, but not the under side, it's still numb.
I got up and took my kids to school this am, and went straight to my moms, which is where I am now.
I feel really good. I'm taking it easy still, but I'm amazed that I'm so well. I've never in my life had any form or medical treatment, never been on pain pills, never had surgery. This has all been so new to me. The first 3 solid days were hard, but since then, every day is better than the last. God has been so good to me, I can't fail to thank Him for helping me thru this.

oh pain

I quit pain pills yesterday morning. I took my cg off for 5 minutes, and what happened? I sneezed. Yes. I doubled over in my kitchen and wanted to cry. I would almost rather be in a painpill coma than have to go thru that again. Almost. My stomach instantly started swelling, and I have lost all energy, so it's back in bed I go.
I'll do a big update on Thursday after I see my doc for my postop.

3 days postop

Today is 3 days postop and I am feeling pretty good. I am very sore and I am very tired, but overall, I'm doing good. I have a little bruising and a little swelling, but I think it's really minimal, considering what I went thru! I have been wearing my cg and my breast strap all the time, and only take them off for 15 minutes every 4 hours. I took my first shower this morning and that was nice. I've been eating regular foods, but mainly just crackers and gatorade. I was really nauseous the first 36 hours, so crackers tasted really good to me. I have been taking percocet, whenever I need it. It's about every 3 hours. If the pain gets bad, I'll take one Tylenol extra strength in between. My incision feels like it is burning kind of, but I guess that's normal for the nerves coming back. My breasts are mostly numb, only if I move wrong do they sting a little. I think I look pretty good, and I hope once I start feeling better, I can write a better update.
