I've had four healthy children. I am 35 yrs old and love to workout but no workout will help with my sagging tummy. I would like a mini TT if at all possible so I've visited with 3 different plastic surgeons. The first ps said I am a good candidate for a mini TT since I don't have enough skin but a Full TT is possible too. Second ps quickly said full TT, he said a full TT would give me the best results versus the mini TT. Third ps said he would definitely recommend a mini TT with lipo and skin tyte. He also mentioned I don't have enough skin for a full TT. I am considering on having another consultation with a different PS but first wanted to see what your thoughts are. Thanks

Hi :) you look amazing by the way! I am a mom of 4 all csection and have alot of stretch marks and work out as well. I was in the same situation as you and wanted to do a mini though Dr said I'd be much happier with a full. I did proceed with a mini in August of 2014, don't get me wrong it looks a whole lot better then I did but I wish I would of saved the money for a full to get rid of a lot more of my stretch marks and I do have loose skin around belly button. Looking at your pics I think you would be so much happier with a full tummy tuck get it all done at once and be completely happy then second guess and try with a mini like I did and have to go back. Good luck to you and make sure you trust your dr and look at all his work :)

Thank you so much. That means alot. I've been debating back and forth about it and I've decided to go for a full TT. Thanks again for your support.

I don't thnk there's enough skin for a full TT. I could be very careful and meet a few more doctors.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. Well, I just wanted to give you all an update about myself. My TT is scheduled for November 20th. I have chosen Dr Brian Kent. I am very nervous and excited at the same time. Eek! Counting down to 9 weeks.

Full tt seems to be the better choice for most. I wish I knew about real self prior to my decision to have a mini because I would have gotten a full even though I'm skinny and fit. I'm very worried about a bludge above bb I don't have one yet but it is always a worry. Good luck

You will be so pleased! Had my tt on Tuesday and we have similar body shapes. I had a peek today and I'm ecstatic. I had full tt, liposuction and mr. Didn't think I had a lot of lipo needed but the dr said he was able to take more than he thought. It's all about contouring- I can't wait to see the final result in a few months. You will be so happy you did this for yourself. I hope the weeks go quickly for you!

I am excited and can't wait. I am a bit scared about the recovery process bc of all the stories I've read about. How is your recovery so far? Any tips or suggestions you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Please don't be scared. You will do fine with some preparation before hand and a positive outlook. My number one tip would be to get off the narcotics as soon as possible. Experiment on how you feel with taking Tylenol or ibuprofen. But stay on top of the pain. With limited use of the narcotic you will avoid constipation nausea and dizziness that comes with it. I think it's really helpful to feel like yourself as soon as possible. I took three pain pills total. By postop day one I was on three ibuprofen every six hours. My pain was very tolerable and I was able to walk around without getting dizzy and I had no nausea. With a stool softener and MOM I was able to have a BM on PO day 2. After that you feel much more human! Be sure you have help – you will need someone to make you meals Bring you liquids and also it helps to have someone keep track of your pain management and antibiotic schedule. I was also determined to get into my bed right away. I found a pretty comfortable way to situate pillows and I've been in my bed since the first night. For a change of scenery I go downstairs to the couch. A walker is nice to have if your back gets tired. Don't try to do anything other than get up to go to the bathroom or go down stairs for change of scenery or walk the hall to get a little blood flowing. No chores or taking care of anyone but you! Keep in touch – if you have any questions just ask!

Good luck
Welcome to the community. My best advice is to have a couple more consults, and don't make any final decisions until you feel 100% comfortable with a doctor and their treatment plan.
