I wanted to improve what I saw in the mirror. I had become unhappy with the body that was staring back at me. I decided to take action to improve my image by having a consultation for power assisted lipo to my stomach area, back area (bra rolls, love handles, and flanks). I went in for a consultation with Dr. Bryan Whitlock and immediately knew this was the right decision. He wasn't able to perform the surgery because of the umblical hernia but offered to repair it for me during the liposuction for a small fee. I paid my deposit and scheduled my surgery. It was performed at Tulsa Surgical Center. At the last minute right before surgery, I asked if I could add my inner thighs. I hate that they rub together. I have very small deep veins and since I wasn't able to drink anything prior to surgery, I was dehydrated which made it impossible to find an area for the IV. I ended up getting Novocain (laughing gas) and the IV was inserted through my neck-ouch! The next thing I remember is waking up in recovery. I wasn't too sore and the first night was bearable. The 2nd night was horrible! So much pain and was hard to sit and stand alone. There was a lot of swelling but not much drainage. Today is day 3 and the swelling is going down. Still a lot of swelling but I can definitely see results. I am so ecstatic that I now have a innie belly button. I will post more pics as I progress.

Ok guys! I am doing exceptionally well today! I am now able to sit up/down by myself and get in and out of bed. I am still sore but only when I make certain moves or press down on the areas. The swelling is improving also. I've been faithfully taking my arnica pills and bromelain. No drainage or leakages since day 1. So far so good! Can't wait for the final results.

Was curious to the pain in the inner thighs. I might ask about throwing that in, but I feel like there is only a certain amount of fat allowed to be taken out. And I need to focus on my belly....LOL. Hope you are going well!

Hello...actually the pain to the inner thigh wasn't bad at all! I rec'd a full garment and I am now out and about driving around etc! I still have that deep tissue soreness but I'm not really taking pain meds anymore. Only when needed. I'll post more pics soon! Feel free to ask me anything. I really suggest buying and taking bromelain and arnica pills prior to your surgery. All of my bruising has left.

I am going to find out how much additional that will cost. I'm also asking about the arnica etc on Monday at my pre op. Are you totally loving it?

So far I am! I put on a dress today and it may not seem like you see results but you definitely can with clothes on. I don't regret it. Just does something for your self esteem!

Well today makes 1 week since my surgery and I must say I'm doing great! Still sore but nothing I can't handle! Still swollen but I can definitely see improvement! Today I tried on my swimsuit and i was so relieved to see no fat hanging from my bra area! Even with swelling, it looks so much better! I know it's only been a week and I have a long way to full recovery but so far so good!
