I am scheduled for a breast augmentation March 19th. Im super excited! My pre-op appointment is Thursday the 12th.. At my consultation, I tried on 3 different size implants.. I like the 400cc natrelle, but I'm having under the muscle placement so the dr recommended to go with the 440 Sientra implants to get the same result. They did not have that size to try so im nervous. I'm currently 34b

Congratulations on your decision to proceed with breast augmentation surgery. Given your concerns, I would suggest that you spend as much time as necessary communicating your goals directly with your plastic surgeon. In my practice, I find that the use of goal photographs, in bra sizers, and computer imaging are very helpful. In other words, use as many "visual aids" as possible during the preoperative communication process. This careful communication is certainly one of the keys to success. Best wishes.

I am also having a cyst aspirated during the same procedure. Has anyone had trouble with cysts and done breast augmentation?

Well today was pre-op..I had a lot of questions and still trying to decide what size. I'm almost convinced to go with sientra 465cc hp .. But still nervous! Also trying to decide if I should aspirate the cyst or have it totally removed during surgery. I've had this same cyst aspirated 6 times in 3 years. It's painful all of the time. Ugh decisions!

Surgery Rescheduled .. Idk when

Well I have doing everything I can think of to prepare for surgery... Cleaning the house, getting bills paid, buying groceries and preparing food in advance. I took off of work the day before surgery to finish up lady minute errands and preparations.. Then I called the surgery center as I had been asked to the morning before.. It was then that I was informed that all of Dr.Whitlocks surgeries had been cancelled for the next day. They advised me that I should call his office. So i did.. They said he had a death in his family and they did not know when they could reschedule me. I found this very very frustrating. I am totally compassionate about the death.. But not the part of having no idea when to reschedule.. I had taken wed, Thursday, Friday and Saturday off work to have plenty of recovery time. I was scheduled to return to work Monday 23rd.. Also I have several cysts in my breasts. My right breast has a very large one that has been extremely painful to the point that I can't sleep well at night.. They were to aspirate the cyst during surgery to relieve the pressure. I was looking soooo forward to taking care of this cyst and it being gone!! Maybe even moreso than the actual breast augmentation because of it being so painful for soooo long! Now I have no clue when surgery will be or how to work around my work schedule since the time has already been taken off.. So frustrating :( and more sleepless nights waiting to drain the cyst .. I'll be posting before pics soon
