I'm starting my journey. I'm currently 5'4, 140-143 lbs. with 34D. I'm torn between just the implants or lift with implants. Terrified on how I will scar! Thinking I should do the implants see how I scar before proceeding for a lift. I have seen 2 docs and will see another today. I want several opinions on what to do. This site has helped me so much so far, being able to hear how happy everyone is and to see photos of progress. Makes me excited and nervous...lol
I just hope mine turn out as good as some of you guys. I posted some wish pics the other day. So I hope no one is upset about it obviously you look amazing or it wouldn't be posted.

I think it's great you're getting multiple opinions, and doing your research. It's really important that you are happy with your results. No one wants to have multiple procedures that could've been avoided the first time around. You will find a lot of support and inspiration from the ladies on here. Good luck!

You actually look a bit fuller than I was before surgery. I got in the high 500 cc range... I think it was 530 and 565?(don't quote me).. and I feel like I could have gone bigger but am still very happy with results. I was on the verge of needing a lift myself and doctor said I could do a bigger implant to avoid the lift which is what I ultimately decided. :)

Scheduled surgery!!

Ok, I've scheduled my surgery for Oct. 11th! OMG it's really happening.... I'm excited and nervous! Doc is suggesting UHP 525cc. Is that going to make me huge!? Should I just do a HP!? Should I just do. 485. I know that's not that big of a difference but I'm nervous I will be huge. I do like a bigger boob but I just don't want to look ridiculous. Anyone a 36c or 34D before surgery? What size did you Do?

1 cup size for every 150 cc as a general rule. So ya - that's big (and heavy) especially if you're already a c cup. You'll have the lift and scars at some point. There's no escaping it if you add a large implant. Better to have them high and tight to start. Look at those who've had that size implant for 10-15-20 years. Let that be your guide. I'd consider the lift lift now. Otherwise the weight will become a problem sooner. Consider your neck when you wear a swimsuit. Consider where or if you'll find one to fit. I had large implants and your clothing choices fall in one of three categories - nope never work, stripper top, or circus tent.

I'm just trying to help you see both sides of the coin. I've been in your shoes. If I could talk to the pre surgery me I'd have opted for shape over size and just gotten a full lift. You'd be shocked how nice they can perk things up and create fullness where you're looking to add. Hope you have a successful procedure.

Hey! So I was a 32D before surgery and am only a 32DD now after surgery. My breasts were extremely deflated after having my children and all of my breast tissue sat at the bottom of my breast. I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs and my doc recommended 470ccs. I too, had some concerns that I was going to be huge. I didn't want them to look frumpy and out of proportion. He explained that for my measurements, I would need that bigger implant to give me the fullness I was seeking. I am SO glad that I trusted him because I am so happy with the size. I was fortunate enough that he felt a lift wasn't necessary but he did say that the uhp implant would probably be the best option to get my nipples up again. Wishing you the very best of luck in your upcoming surgery with whatever you decide! :)

Thanks so much. I should go with what my doc thinks too! It's just do nerve racking...lol I go for my surgery on the 11th of Oct. and I'm so excited and nervous! My hubby thinks I should quit stressing so much, that everything will be just fine. I agree but it's so hard to quit looking at reviews...haha. Thank you for your feedback!

Hey girl! Similar stats but 2 kids and a little taller at 5'8. What was super interesting was even though I really couldn't fit into a c cup bra before, I wasn't a true D either per the drs. luckily didn't need a lift per the docs, so I wanted to reinflate what I had. I chose 350/375 mentor silicone unders mod + profile. My doc is one of the best in Cleveland BUT he will not choose the ccs, but does choose the profile. I feel pretty big, but I can fill out/ fit into some of my larger sports bras again. Haven't tried my real bras yet bc I'm only 14 DPO but I'm betting I'm a true DD now. I can send you my progression thus far if it helps. Good luck hun. Trust your gut but also you Dr

Hi guys! I went to my pre-op today!! After talking with the Dr. again we decided to go with HP 520 natrelle silicone implants. Hopefully it lifts me some and looks good. So excited and nervous. My surgery is scheduled for Oct 11th at 7:15. I need to get my meds filled tomorrow since it's my anniversary today. We just had a great Mexican lunch and will be relaxing together today! I was out in another room today without the implants so I wasn't able to do any pics....sorry... Next post I should have my boobs!!

Have you browsed photos of what an implant that size looks like over time? Check some of the forums. They're very heavy and may accelerate sag are you having a lift with the surgery? Many women report not having a lift and going too big to fill up skin (in lieu of lift) as they're number one regret about implants. I don't want to sound negative but a Dr may not talk you these things they like repeat business. Browse a few removal reviews for photos of 500 c and up ladies 5, 10 years out. The beautiful thing about it is you can now do that. I couldn't because I had mine prior to Tue internet. That makes me feel like s dinosaur lol. Wishing you well.
