Still have the "seroma baby" in my stomach, but other than that all is well. I go back to the drs Tuesday to get drained again, maybe he will offer another solution this time. I will update after that appointment. My incisions are healing well, I started scar treatment last week, it seems to be helping yay. As for pain my stomach doesn't hurt as much anymore, when I sneeze it's not overbearing pain so that's a plus. So far I'm really happy with everything once I get rid of my seroma baby, I'll be jumping for joy.

Just curious, does your doc still have you wearing compression garments?
June 19, 2017
Yes, I'm still wearing mine almost all day long. I'll be 8 weeks in 2 weeks I think.

Yeah me, too. I have the 3 piece Velcro wrap thing that I wear at home but I have Spanx that I wear at work. Looking forward to ditching the compression garments but not sure when that will be. How are you feeling?

Me too! I cannot wait to throw this binder out lol good riddance. I'm feeling good, still have the seroma. How are you healing and feeling?

I hope that seroma goes away soon for you!! I've been feeling pretty good. Was able to do an all day music festival on Friday and I made it all the way through to the end. I kind of felt it then next day but honestly it was so nice to do something that made me feel like a normal person again. Even wore a regular bra for the day bc I didn't want to wear the sports bra there. Shhhh... don't tell me PS lol. Finding that even though I still swell throughout the day, the swelling is less. My incisions are finally closed. Seems like it took forever. So I finally feel like I'm on the mend. Next follow up is beginning of July.

Lol sports bra life and binder life. I'm so glad you went and had fun girl. Yay for healed incisions reduced swelling and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. This is a long process that's for sure. Some days it's a must to do something fun to feel normal. I'm glad you're feeling and healing great, that's great news doll.

Not sure what's worse...drainless with possible seroma OR drains with possible seroma! I had my tt with lipo on 5/18 and have two stupid drainzzzzzzz can't stand them.
May 24, 2017
Haha I know what you mean! How are you feeling and healing? How exciting girl! Are you happy with your results so far?
May 24, 2017
I'll be so happy once this seroma is gonnnnne for good. Thankfully I have a great surgeon who sees me all the time to drain it, otherwise I think I would go crazy.

May 24, 2017
Oh yes girl! These drains tho.... the only benefit? Less chance of seroma with drains.

I'm ok other that I don't like depending on others to take care of me. Had a meltdown with the husband this am because he was rushing to leave to work and was forgetting that i needed a few things like TOILET paper that I simply can't get to right now! Ugh I was so upset I hope I didn't do any damage to my tummy. I felt like I was on fire!!

So glad you're healing well except for the seroma but it sound like your Doc is wonderful in helping to resolve that. My healing has been so much slower than I anticipated that I'm a little frustrated at times. Tripped yesterday at my daughter's graduation and felt like I pulled on the internal permanent stitches. Super sore and walked like a hunchback the rest of the day. Today is much better though. Fingers crossed that the next 4 weeks brings lots of healing (for all of us on this journey). I'm attempting the Firefly music festival in 2 weeks no matter what. Just need to start feeling normal again.

Oh my gosh hunny that sounds awful I can't imagine how painful that was falling. Healing does seem to take forever, it seems like one lonnnng day since surgery. I'm still swollen and seroma still there, going back to get drained in a few days. The light at end of the tunnel is my first seroma did go away after 3 draining sessions so I have hope lol.
I'm sure your healing will speed up. I'm sending you good vibes doll. One thing I was adamant about was trying to eat mostly protein after surgery, it seems I healed my incisions pretty fast, week 3 I was able to start scar treatment. Try eating a lot of protein it really does speed up recovery. I'm sure in 4 weeks you will feel a lot better and be able to enjoy the festival. Gives you something to look forward too as well. Annnd get to dress cute and enjoy yourself. The healing stage is rough mentally.. it can be pretty draining. Hang in there girl.
