1 Year Later

One year later and I'm doing amazing. All healed, 1st 3D mammogram perfect, and life is good. Living without 36G very heavy boobs is awesome. Living with 34C normal boobies feels darn good and no worries for future problems. Getting the bags removed was worth it! No doubt!

6 months

Six months later boobies feel soft, natural, and "normal". I wear 34C bras and I do not miss the 36G girls one bit. A weird thing happened at 5 months ... I noticed what appeared to be a tiny stitch coming out beside my right nipple. I started pulling it and after 2 inches came through got my husband to help. Crazy it ended up being 7 inches long - pic attached. Yes it was freaky but didn't leave any pain etc. I did wash the place it came out with peroxide and neosporin for a week afterwards. I need to see Dr. Maxwell one more time and will ask her about it. This implant removal was the best thing. Going into my retirement adventures healthy and feel amazing every single day.

3 months later ...

The only thing I would change is waiting so long to get my implants removed. Nerves and such kept me from doing it sooner. I feel amazing and love everything about my little boobs. I have 6 new 34C bras but my favorites are still the after surgery sports ones I bought from Amazon. I have no more shoulder/back pain and feel loads lighter. I use Palmer Oil/lotion but not really concerned with the scars. I'm finally, after many years, in a place of not thinking about my breasts on a daily and sometimes hourly basis. Life is GOOD!

Dr. Maxwell is simply the best. From my implant surgery 13 years ago to this explant with lift my experience was without question amazing. Dr. Maxwell is skilled beyond measure. Shes both kind and direct so there is no confusion or doubt. Both my surgeries were life changing. This explant with lift even more so. Dr. Maxwell did an excellent job and it was more than worth it. Bonus! because of her expertise my scars after 2 weeks, although very early in my journey, are showing obvious signs they will hardly be noticible. The entire staff are also the best of the best. They take their time to answer all questions and provide the necessary information. With their knowledge and professional attitude I was well prepared by the day of surgery. From the moment I checked in the surgical staff embraced me with their efficiency. They swiftly led me through all preparations. Dr. Hunter the anesthesiologist was excellent as well. Although it was stressful by the time everyone finished preparing me and wheeled me in I was completely calm. If you live in Tucson Dr. Maxwell, staff, and beautiful office with surgical suite is the place to go.
