Thank you for continuing to update your story! You look really great and I hope I can have such good results!
Thank you SO much for sharing your story! it really was wonderful to read about someone going through a similar situation! I myself have been made sick by implants, and just had my explantation about 10 days ago so am still on the mend. I LOVE having my small natural boobies back, and absolutely don't know what I was thinking getting those large ridiculous things! lol. According to research women that are sick are urged to get the implants removed "en bloc" with all the capsule (scar tissue) removed along with the implant. you say that you are feeling much better? that your symptoms have improved by 80%!!!? that's amazing, and i'm so happy for you! Could you tell me if you had your implants removed en bloc? Did your surgeon remove all your scar tissue, or did she leave some of it? I'm asking because my surgeon was unable to remove all my scar tissue. he had to leave 50% still in my chest as I had nerves exposed that needed to be covered. I'm still feeling pretty badly as far as symptoms go (I know its only been 10 days, and my boyfriend keeps telling me to give it time). But i'm scared that since all the scar tissue wasn't removed I will remain sick. I would love to hear your experience with this! Thanks so much again! ;) I will be writing my own story and posting photos soon as well so that I may "pay it forward" ;) -B
Dear Sweet Mouthy.. I too couldnt get have every bit of scar tissue removed. I feel 100% better. I ended up w some silicone in deep lymph nodes and am still doing well. I think my body may breakdown the silicone inmy nodes over time now that the well of toxins is gone. My right breast looks Ok...my left breast has been left a bit mutilated underneath. I really dont care because I have them out now. So happy for you. You will feel much better soon!
Thank you so much for responding! Its so much appreciated! I have heard similar things now from a few women about it just needing time and "detoxing". I plan to eat well, take supplements, and exercise to help the process along! I'm sorry that any of us had to go through this ordeal, but am so glad that we have another chance at living a healthy and happy life! My breasts aren't perfect anymore either and needed some reconstruction mostly due to a bad surgical job done by the original surgeon whom was also incredibly unethical as he put different implants in than I had asked for, and then lied to me about it (textured implants instead of smooth), and did some generally sloppy work on me that needed to be repaired. Shocking considering he's held in high regard here in Los Angeles, and has been on TV. But I suppose there's a lot of unethical people in the world that don't mind hurting others to become rich and successful. A shame... I digress! haha. regardless, I must take most of the responsibility as I was the one who decided to have them put in... and I will move on from this!!! I just love having my little natural boobies back, and having that crap out of me!!! ;) And I wish you all the best in your continued health and happiness!!! Thanks again! ;) xoxoMouthy
I am also having my implants removed, everything including the capsule is coming out. Weird thing is the doctor says that my symptoms of dizzyness and heart flutters are not associated with the implants, and it really makes me wonder why they say that! I thank you for your story! Thanks for all of the advice!
Hi thank you for sharing your journey - mine is just about beginning - September 17 th is my explant - you look amazing and it's really good to hear that your symptoms have almost gone and you feel great - I'm looking forward to that as I am totally exhaughsted 24/7 - you look fab & I hope you confine to blossom and be [RS bleep] happy
ok.. I am on the fence.. along with my husband of 30 years,, I am considering getting implants.. why did you get them out??????? you say you want to be healthy again.. but seriously, what was wrong, and after the implants were removed, were the "issues" all gone??
what was wrong? Try just about everything! I think we all have the same story and we haven't ever met! If everyone on here is willong to go through this to get the toxic bleeeeep out of their body let that really sit with your spirit and decide if the loss od health would be worh it
we do all have the same story. What was wrong with the implants? EVERYTHING.
you look unbelievable! I am explanting in two weeks and the nerves are getting the best of me. But reading this site and seeing results really helps. Thank you for posting.
breathe and visualize all going well. Feel the love of God healing you and eat good pure food! I about went nuts waiting my nerves were fried- it will be behind you soon - keep a journal and remember this is a journey!!!

9 months post explant

Thought it was time to update you all on how things are going. I'm feeling 100% better, most all of my symptoms have decreased and or gone away. My heart is behaving much better, my thyroid has been bouncing a bit but seems to be settling down too. My RA numbers are in the normal range again and I'm sleeping better. My dizziness has completely left me and that's wonderful!! I've been able to gain about 10 pounds back and that has helped with the "fluffing" as well as time.....the divot that the implant caused has almost filled back in!! I feel feminine again and not embarrassed to be seen without my bra on. I am able to walk a mile a day without getting winded and my breathing is so regular that I don't notice it anymore....In short I believe removing my implants was MY SILVER BULLET!
Just wanted to share this with those of you that are considering this journey and those who have already begun it. It was a hard journey but well worth the outcome!!
Sunshine and Smiles to you all!

You look beautiful, bird7! I'm so glad your symptoms have gone away and that you're feeling so much better!!
Thanks Explanting Texan, so how are you doing?
Thank you for reminding us that time is important in this healing process! Your pictures are lovely and worth a huge thank you!!! You give me hope. What is your height and weight and starting size?
I am 5'7" and 138 lbs. presently. I was a small B cup prior to my first set of implants and am again a B cup. Patience truly is a virtue in this case!
You look beautiful
Thanks Gina, I'm okay with my outcome and the longer they are out the more pleased I am :)
Cannot wait to forget this nightmare
You'll get there!
I hope so. As I'm in the edge to loose everything
How so Gina?

It is amazing to see how beautiful your breast looks now after all those years with implants. I will have my explant surgery on september 16, I don't care much of the look, most of all I want to get rid of the heaviness and sensation of fakiness I feel with these 12 years old implants. But I would feel blessed if my breast will look almost as good as yours. Thanks a lot for sharing!
I admit that how I looked was a small part of the concerns I had when it came to removal, but the biggest concern for me was if I'd regain my health! Being relatively pleased with the physical aspect was definitely a bonus :)
the last comment was from me, it came out signed anon460 because I tried to log in with my other email, sorry :)
So valevale how are you feeling? Are you happy with your outcome? Did the swelling come down in your breasts and bring your size down? I sure don't miss the weight of my implants, how about you?
