I love Dr. Taki's candor. Some people may see this as a problem if so he's not the right doctor for you. He was the last of my 3 consults. I was pretty sure I had already picked my surgeon but went to the consult anyways because a friend recommended him. She just had BA done by him she was very happy. She raved about him. (Her BA looked great) Anyways after meeting with Dr. Taki I was 100% for sure I wanted him to do my surgery. However after looking at his reviews I grew a little worried because there were so many negative reviews. The original surgeon I was planning to go with had none. I went back and forth trying to figure out which doctor was right for me. Because all of his negative reviews had nothing to do with his work and more to do with his demeanor we (my husband and I) decided to go with him. I will address my concerns about his negative reviews at my pre Op before I make make my payment. I have my pre op on the 9th and I will make an update then.

Had my first post op on Tuesday. Dr. Takki looked me over and rebangaged me. I go back to see him on Monday morning. The pain hasn't been that bad. I just wish I could see what it looks like. I had a Brestlift no implants and I feel my boobs are up to me chin lol I can feel the muscle repair from he tummy tuck but no lower pain.

Sounds like you are doing great! Just concentrate on healing at this point in time. It all gets better day by day.

I'm after explanat surgery with Dr Taki- would you recommend him still? I'm nervous ...

What kind of surgery are you looking to have done? I had a tummy tuck with Lipo and muscle repair and a breastlift and reduction. He is a wonderful surgeon. Very honest and does amazing work. Besides my minor complications I'm very pleased with my results thus far. I'm just about 4 months post op but I still have a lot of swelling most days in my tummy area, which is to be expected. But when I'm not swollen I love my results :-) Good luck

Thank you for replying. Im going in for silicone implant Removal and the "slimcoated" capsules too. Called an en bloc. I lupus that was controtoled 35 yrs went crazy.. Developed Sjogerns another auto after implant. Sjogerns Drys out my whole body. Eyes, nose, sinuses, vagina and can effect internal organs plus increases Lymphoma Rish by 44%. Implants also increase risk of lymphoma slightly, and I've had painful hot swollen breast for days any time their touched.... It's been a scary sad experience. Im meeting Dr Taki in Tucson soon. He's the 3rd surgeon. First in Tucson was horrible man. Se cons in Scottsdale very nice and great references. But I'm concerned with driving there since I live Far East Tucson - takes 45 min to highway before staring up to Scottsdale. Don't want travel that far after surgery, so I called serval other Tucson offices and went be reviews and if staff answered questions. Dr Taki office staff was very nice and professional - hoping they are a reflection of Dr Taki standards. I had had breast reduction surgery 2005 in NH. It went well but years later I needed to have "dog ears" removed and got talked into implants. I'm angry with myself i let this happen. I enjoyed being a small C cup. Long story... But 3 yrs ago a doc here in Tucson put 350cc in me without my permission/ I did agree to 250-275 tops. He left me a size 32DDD. On my small frame at 56 I look stupid. Can't find bras and they are heavy like my naturals ones were back in 2005. I was naturally a 32F. I was always uncomfortable them as I am now- but now I have auto immune battle going on in my body and Reumitoligist as well as PMC doc agree implants must go. It's been a nightmare. Did you like dr Taki after care?? Bedside manner?
Thank you!!!
Thank you!!!

3 & 1/2 weeks post op. I have to say having a mommy make over was the best decision I could have made. My tummy is healing very well no complication at all. However I've had a minor complication with my breast lift no implants. Some of the skin died do to lack of blood underneath my left breast. It looks worse then it is. But Dr. Taki Is taking great care of me. It's slowed down my recovery a bit. But overall I'm super happy with my result. I've added a pic of the necrosis and a pic of my breastlift with no implants.
