I'm still pretty swollen. I had twins so my entire stomach was covered with stretch marks. I'm very pleased with with the results thus far. And I can't want to get back in the gym.

I'm sorry you lost some skin. But your overall results look great!

I wonder why that happens to some people. I think I've read it can happen if garments are too tight and you don't get enough circulation. Are you a smoker? I think I've read that can be a cause too, but I may be thinking of something else. I didn't see pics of necrosis until after my surgery thank goodness, I'm such a worrier, I probably wouldn't have gone through with my tt if I had. lol I'm glad you're staying positive. I'm wishing you the best of luck!

I didn't see any pictures of necrosis till after my surgery either. They say it's just one of those things that can just happens even if you have an amazing surgeon like I do and do everything right :-(. They say smoking is a key factor, but I've never smoked unless you count in high school when I was trying to be cool at parties (many many years ago) lol. I'm doing much better now. The first week i saw it I was having panic attacks. But after doing a little research and the frequent post op appointments I have with my surgeon has calmed me down a lot. He asurred me the end results will be great. And he will do a scar revision if needed. Thanks for the well wishes and I hope your recovery is going smoothly. :-)

I guess it's just one of those risks that sometimes happens to the best of us. I had a seroma and my doctor had to reopen me, drain it, and scrape the tissue around it. Another complication that happens to the best of us, but I'm doing much better now. Now if only I would stop swelling, I'd be pretty much back to 100%. Happy healing and I'm wishing for the best for you!

3 & 1/2 weeks post op

3 & 1/2 weeks post op. I have to say having a mommy make over was the best decision I could have made. My tummy is healing very well no complication at all. However I've had a minor complication with my breast lift no implants. Some of the skin died do to lack of blood underneath my left breast. It looks worse then it is. But Dr. Taki Is taking great care of me. It's slowed down my recovery a bit. But overall I'm super happy with my result. I've added a pic of the necrosis and a pic of my breastlift with no implants.
