WORTH IT$200
I have lighter skin and dark leg hair so even when I shave I have black dots all over my legs. I shave in the morning and by the afternoon they are already scratchy. By the night it's like I haven't even shaved. It's something that I've wanted to fix forever. But I've been scared that I could get burned by the lasers and end up with even worse legs. Recently I've been on realself reading reviews and I've decided to try it. There is a place in Tucson called affordable laser that has great review and a groupon that makes it very affordable. I'm starting out with only 3 lower leg sessions to see what I think. If I feel good about it I'll do three more and maybe the bikini area. Super excited!

I am have had four sessions on my legs and the results are fantastic. Nearly all the hair is gone and I have not had regrowth. You will get back hours of your life every year not shaving regularly. Your legs will also be soft and never prickly. I highly recommend it and hope that you have the same experience.

Hey any chance you have an update of your first experience and your results now

I have updated. I’m basically hair free now and my spots are diminished. I still have pores on my legs but without the dark hairs it doesn’t look so bad

Do you know what type of machine was used? I'm researching for my wife for a Christmas gift. She also has lighter skin and dark hair.

I don’t know. I looked all over the site and it doesn’t say. I go to peach medical group in Tucson. They use two methods. A laser that sucks and massages our skin and then another laser after. It’s amazing. I am basically hair free except for a few hairs here and there

First Session
Getting laser hair removal is slightly more painful than I expected. Snapping rubber bands? Maybe in the easy areas. Definitely more like being stung by a lot of bees. But the pain is quick and after my legs just felt super warm. The session was about 30 minutes. After it was like a sunburn. My legs looked kind of weird and lumpy. A few hours later they looked extremely spotty. My next appointment is in 14 weeks! I'll keep you updated.

Did they suggest 14 weeks? I was reading your review because I just set an appointment for laser on my legs. I was wonder how often I should get it because I've already gotten it on my face and underarms and those were 5-6 weeks apart, but my legs have like man hair on them and was thinking I should get it more often.

That's what they told me and so far it seems to be going well. I hardly have to shave anymore and I've only gone in twice. I have one more paid for session and we will see how it goes!

Day after session
I woke up and my skin is SO soft and my legs are SO smooth. It already feels like a miracle to me. Normally my legs would be so scratchy and prickly at this point that I'd cringe to touch them or have my legs rub together even. I'm so happy. I feel like already this is worth it to me. Still legs are sensitive and spotty. But I've dealt with spotty legs my whole life so it's nothing new. I do hope that improved but it would be an added bonus! Hooray for smooth legs!

Same experience here! I am very hairy all over and shaving my legs took forever and soon the hair was back! And even when I shaved, you could see all the hair follicles and it wasn't pretty! I had my 3rd full leg treatment today, and I told my tech that I was already lloving the results after 2 sessions. I didn't shave for the whole month (since my treatments are a month apart) in order to observe hair growth and it was amazing! A good majority of my legs had no hair and the hair that did show up was mostly concentrated in certain areas. And the tech told me that she is starting to see an improvement as well as the skin evens out (before I had marks from ingrown hair, razor bumps, etc)! I am so freaken excited! I am fervently praying that I will have very little hair left by the end of the 6th treatment! And I hope it goes the same way for you! BTW the place I go to uses MedioStar Next (idk what type this is) and I have type IV skin on the fitzpatrick scale. No burns yet (on my legs atleast... I got slightly burned in my underarm area today though)!

I love it so much so far. I was a little tan from the summer and even though I waited four weeks longer to get my next session I still had a little hypo pigmentation. It's mostly gone now though. I have to watch the sun!!
