My son just texted me a random photo of myself before surgery, and I can say WITHOUT A DOUBT that with makeup I look much MUCH better. Without makeup I still look like a gremlin who has been fed after midnight, but I have hope. I look good with a little paint. ???????? if you are on the fence I say do it!

Apparently I'm healing quickly. I have two things I did very well that may have contributed to this. The day before surgery I began eating pineapple. I ate an entire pineapple. It took all day, but I did it. I continued to eat pineapple pretty regularly for about a week after. I skipped days three and four and had horrible yellow bruising under my eyes on day five. I ate a pineapple and it was much improved by day six. So I'm now a complete believer. The second thing I did was immediately following surgery I iced each eye sitting upright for twenty minutes an eye with my head supported by one of those travel pillows. I slept semi-upright with the travel pillow and an ice pack on my face for the first two nights (see photo) Thank goodness for valium, because it would have been impossible to sleep without it.

Your eyes are looking fab already. I'm also interested in getting my upper and lower eyelids done. Glad you are healing fast. For forehead wrinkles botox is wonderful if you're interested.

I did try Botox for my forehead but it actually made my lids sink further. Since the lids were done my forehead is not bothering me just my parentheses. Ahhh vanity is expensive!!

I tried restylane for the parenthesis and it really works well and lasts long time.

I think your eyes look great!! It might take a little while for your brain to get used to your new lids, but they open your eyes up so much and make it easy to see how pretty the color of your eyes are :). I'm scheduled for upper and lower tomorrow morning, June 27.... And I'm nervous!!! I'm going to get a pineapple today in hopes my bruising/swelling will be as minimal as yours!!

How do your eyes Feel? Any dry eye, vision issues. They are as close to perfect as I've seen on RS at the 10 day mark! Bet you can't wait for final results which with just uppers should be soon.
