Just turned 30. 4 kids (all csection) in under 7 years, the last one was only born 4 months ago. No breast feeding on any bc no milk production. I'm 5'5. Currently 215, still working on pregnancy weight but always been about 185 normally. I'm a 38 B going into this procedure.
While I feel a bit guilty since 1. Moms always feel guilty when spending money on themselves and 2. I'm no where near the size of all these other before and after photos. But nevertheless, after wanting this since a teenager, I've decided to give myself the best 30th birthday present ever. I'm getting boobs. Big ones!
I had my consultation on my birthday. Dr. Taki was awesome. I knew right then that's who I wanted to do this. I paid and set my date that day! I have about 4 weeks until DD day (lol) bc my husband will be gone for military training. But I felt so comfortable and ready that I would have walked into that operating room right then if I could.
We decided on the Mentor silicone, 800 cc high profile! Largest silicone that Mentor offers, from what I was told. Like I said, I'm getting big ones! Go big or go home.
Hopefully I can update this review as we go along because I'm excited to share my journey as a big girl. Good luck to all you ladies that are also going for it! Go feel beautiful!

So glad you can do this for yourself without feeling too guilty. You're right, most moms do feel a bit of guilt so your feelings are normal. ;) Feel free to join the March 2016 breast augmentation surgery forum for some pre and post op support. Looking forward to your updates!

Awesome! I'm excited for you. That's exactly why I feel like I need to keep this review going. I waited so many years bc I kept telling myself maybe when I get down to ---- weight, blah blah blah... since all I ever see is before and afters with girls that are like 6 feet, 115lbs. I felt an obligation to share my story as a plus size woman that totally got jipped in the boobie region. Lol. I hope everything goes well for you too!!

I'm 5'4 190lbs and I just got mentors HP 750cc silicone gel. I don't have kids but Iv never been a skinny mini. I also go liposuction along w my breast revision. I was a 36AA prior to my first then I was a 38DD. Told the doc I didn't wanna got to much bigger just a bit more projection. So I'm interested to see if I stay a DD or go up to a DDD.

If your already a B cup you'll likely end up bigger than me. :)

Day of and day 2.

RahRah4
Day of surgery, I was only a little nervous. Mostly about how I was going to feel during the recovery. Since I've had 4 csections already, I was pretty calm about actually going into the operating room. I swear I laid on the table, made a joke about how I better not wake up to another baby (lol) then the next thing I know I was sitting in the recliner in recovery. There was lots of pressure but not very much pain. I did feel quite queasy and after my 1.5 hour drive back home, I threw up once. But after that I was fine. I kept up on my meds that first night then started the antibiotics in the morning. Dr. Taki called me shortly after I got home up check on me and to give me his cell phone number. He also told me if I felt ok, I didn't have to drive back up there to my 24 hour appointment and instead wait until my 1 week. Just to take the bandage off in the morning and put on a sports bra, also to start my antibiotics. I really did appreciate that! So far so good.
The next day I made the mistake of attending/hosting my son's basketball awards party. I was drugged up so I was ok at the time, I just did my best not to lift anything. My armpits hurt quite a bit when I got home so I took my next dose then put frozen on my boobs. That seemed to help. Now today I'm waking up on day 3 with no pressure, still some pain (maybe like a 5 out of 10), but nothing I can't handle. Today adventure does include getting into the shower and switching into another sports bra so we'll see how that goes.

Going into Day 3.

RahRah4
Ok Its day 3 post op. Scale says I've gained 10 lbs which totally sucks but from what I understand, it's probably mostly fluid retention. Last night I realized I'm getting a pretty nice sized bruise in the (lower) center of my chest. Still in sports bras everyday. Able to move around and get some things done. Pain is mostly in armpit area and at the incision (underboob). Keeping up on meds helps that out quite a bit. Doesn't feel like anything has really began to drop yet but no worries, it's only day 3. :) I have no regrets about the surgery or the size I decided to go with! I just can't wait til these puppies settle in and the shopping can begin. :)

Hi and congrats. I gained 10 lbs after BA too and it went away within a couple of weeks. I didnt start dropping till after one month. I went 650 cc silicone under. Patience is key! Everything looks great on you!
