So today went amazing. I didn't go through with the lift. I literally made that decision as they were wheeling me into the operating room. So I will be reimbursed half of my money in a couple of days. She was able to get all capsules out and said that the left capsule was so stubborn that she had to scrape it out. She got it all though. The dressing is tape to try to close up the pocket and reduce fluid build up. She calls it a "boob cast" which I thought was so cute. Lol I have no drains and I am feeling really good. She said that I didn't bleed a lot so that's why I didn't need the drains. I'm just extra thirsty and drowsy. This pic was taken during our 1.5 hour ride home after surgery. I'll get my pictures of my capsule and chest wall on Monday at my first follow up. Dr said my left Brest muscle was completely torn. So she had to do a lot of muscle repair. I'm so glad it's over. Now I can heal and move on. Xoxo

Congratulations on your freedom!!! Wishing you the very best and healing!! Take good care of yourself now and take it easy. Please post pics if you can. I haven't had my explant yet, planning for hopefully august or late July. That's so crazy about your muscle being torn, did you feel like something was wrong on that side? Terrible! Implants are so destructive to our bodies!

Night before surgery.
My family and I just got to the hotel here in Tucson. So nervous about tomorrow. Can not wait until these feelings are gone and I'm back home. Prayers are appreciated.??

Pre-op Day!!!
Today was my pre-op appointment and I'm so excited. Went and got everything I need. Can't believe I have 2 more weeks until I get these awful things off my chest!!!

I had mine removed yesterday and I feel great pain not too bad I had a lift and muscle repair as mine were under the muscle I'm excited for you I asked my surgeon if they were ruptured he said no I'm wishing you well I was excited but nervous the night before so you can expect that make sure you have food bottled water etc drink plenty water to get anesthesia out your body
I'm having the procedure done. Explant, lift and muscle repair. She said she was going to be making the nipples a tad smaller as well. I have saline behind the muscle by the way. Thank you for the tip. I will be drinking lots of water. I can't wait until March 3rd. Happy healing...:-)
Also I don't know if your ps told you but the wanted me to start taking a multi vitamin before the surgery and during healing Im feeling so much better it's just 48 hrs post op I'm takin extra strength Tylenol and antibiotics oh I cooked enough food for four days make sure you have protein to help healing
My PS gave me some Arnica Montana and Bromelain with Quercetin. My antibiotics will be through my IV during surgery so I won't be getting those. I'm going to food prep some healthy foods for a couple of days after as well.
