I was referred by my neighbor who is a retired nurse and she had worked for Dr. Nelson. The office was professional and friendly. Dr. Nelson saw me right away and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Then he showed me photos of others who had arm lifts and explained what my procedure would entail. I am over 60 and had lost 50 pounds years ago and my upper arms were huge and hung and this was uncomfortable. Also, even though I wear size 12, I always had to buy much larger tops because of the hanging skin.
I thought NW was the best hospital ever! Everything went well but the best thing was how Dr. Nelson made my arms "normal" for the first time in my life sense I was a kid! I'm crying tears of joy right now just writing this! It's been about 3 weeks sense surgery and I can not believe how perfect my arms look. I have no pain, no numbness and the scars look amazing!
If I ever need to improve anything else with my body or face I would only go to Dr. Nelson!

Respectfully,

Congratulations on your weight loss and what sounds like some pretty great results.  Do you have pics?  We'd love to see how your arms turned out.  Tell us a bit about your recovery also.  Your review will help many in the community, I'm sure.  Looking forward to your updates.

Thank you for asking Gina! My husband will help me with posting photos and it has just been 3 weeks sense surgery. The worst part of recovery for me was trying to find comfortable under arm padding. We bought several different things from the drug store and some of the tape was less than gentle. Also it took over a week until my arm garment would fit so I used Ace bandages. I did use my pain medicine and for me the first 4 days were most uncomfortable. I lost the weight on my own about 20 years ago and the older I got the more my skin sagged. Dr. Nelson did such an outstanding job I'm still amazed when I look at my arms. I have one more week in the garment and have started with a scar gel and see the doctor in a month for follow up and photos.
