Amazing Experience with Fixing Tuberous Breast

37 y.o., 5’8”, 135 lb, married, no biological kids.
Tuberous breast. 405 cc. On top of the muscle placement.
Dr.Joe was recommended by my good friend who had breast augmentation and tummy tuck about a year ago. However, my case needed something more than simple “boobs job” - I had tuberous breasts (if you don’t know, just google pictures). After having consultation on the phone and looking at my pictures I set up an appointment at the clinic with Dr.Joe. Me and my husband were pleased with the clinic visit - Dr.Joe was was very professional and honest, also, I felt like an interesting case to him, not just another client.
He recommend to proceed with dual plan (mastopexy/lift and augmentation) due to my breast anatomy, and I was able to schedule my surgery just in a few weeks after the clinic visit. The surgery went great - less time than expected and I had 0 pain with “magic” oxycodone. I was sooo excited to see my new “girls”.
I will be honest- I did a lot of reading about quick recovery, and few girlfriends who had breast augmentation told me that they were able to “live normal life” just in a couple of weeks…however, my recovery was different…but my case was different. The first week was hard as expected, and then I got better and returned to work. I am an RN and my work requires taking care of my patients; however, by the end of week three I was still pretty sore and stiff, and my right breast was about one inch higher.
I was able to express my concerns and was given support by dr.Joe which I really needed.
After three weeks follow up and taking stitches out, following all recommendations to speed up a recovery I finally started feeling much better. I would say that my recovery took exactly three months. And I feel that my “girls” are getting nicer and more natural looking every day.
Dr.Joe did an amazing job!
Also, I want to say thank you to dr.Joe’s nurse Jen - from the very first visit, through the surgery, my two follow up appointments, my text messages, concerns and extra questions she has been the best support for me.
I highly recommend dr.Joe and his team!
Everyone has their own reason to do plastic surgery, and I am one of those people.
I did this surgery not because I was hoping to fix my personal life, find a husband, become more confident and successful…no, I did this surgery as a reward for myself because I already did all the above.
