245CC Motiva Implant - Fixing Tuberous Breast

WORTH IT
Hi guys, I had my surgery yesterday and it’s been a crazy journey, so I just thought I’d share.
For reference, I’m 5’2 and currently weigh 70KG - I really plan on losing weight when I’m able to run again.
My surgery was done in Northern Ireland and cost me £7.7k - I had 2 consultations and was able to test out different implant sizes in my first consultation.

Warning my lovelies, will be a lengthy post, BUT if it helps, it helps. I know if I had read this post before I had my surgery, I’d be a lot more at ease.
I probably won’t be sharing any nude pics just out of privacy reasons. I may upload clothed photos when I’m healing! :D
I’m mostly posting this review to help other people out there in my position, because I have only seen one other person who has underwent the same surgery as me, and as well as that, I’ve never seen someone with my type of breast.
I have never ever felt normal because of my breasts. I’ve never been able to wear clothes and dresses like other people because everything at the breast just droops and sags and looks terrible because I had nothingggggg.

So, yesterday I underwent surgery - finally!! I got 245cc Motiva implants, both L and R. I did not previously have a major size difference. I did however, have tuberous breasts that I’ve never been happy with. They were not overly ‘droopy’ by any means, I mostly just had herniated nipples. On top of this, I was really quite flat chested before my surgery. I had minimal tissue.
I always kind of described them as “fat boy boobs”. Picture that if you will, haha.
The surgeon explained to me my skin is pinched, and this is what’s causing the tuberous breast and pinching my nipples, making them herniated, or quite puffy. He gave me two options for surgery.
Option 1: We place the implants and fix the tuberous deformity by making an incision and trying to correct the pinched skin and in the end result, help my breasts fill out at the bottom.
Option 2: We do all of the above, but we also correct my nipple and basically reconstruct it to try and fix the puffiness - however, there are cons with this. The nipple can splay and this would need a further surgery.
And, it means further pain.

So, I decided to go with option 1. My nipples will be fine - I can always use nipple covers if they remain too puffy in future. My thought process was, well, if I have bigger boobs, bigger/puffier nipples won’t be the biggest deal in the world. I’m hoping I’m right! :D

Due to a lack of skin on top, my surgeon initially believed I should undergo an under the muscle procedure. At the time, I weighed about 65.5kg.
I was fine with this procedure and left it to him, as he’s the expert.
However, between my first consultation and the day of my actual surgery, he’d found a change in size. He believed because I had put on some weight, this actually worked in my advantage, and the ‘pectoral’ tissue (idk what else to call it tbh haha) had become thicker/grown! He then stated going over the muscle would be more advantageous, cause less of a painful recovery process, and would be an easier procedure overall.
There can be last minute changes before you go into theatre - please be aware and if you can, try to keep an open mind to this. The surgeons need to take EVERYTHING into account to see what will be best for you. But please ask questions and ensure you feel comfortable and you’re feeling as confident as you can with a last minute change. Please have faith in your surgeon.

Now, on top of putting the implants in, he also needed to correct the tuberous breast problem. He needed to make an incision to try and fix the tuberous issue.
This will hopefully make my breast fill out properly on the bottom rather than being top heavy and droopy on the bottom. This went really well, and I had no complications during my surgery.

They gave me a boatload of pills and my amazing wonderful boyfriend has been helping me stay on top of taking those because I’ll be honest - I’m still a bit in the clouds. When I initially woke up from my surgery, the lovely team gave me some tea and toast, but I was in a lot of pain in my left breast, specifically the nipple. This lasted for a couple of hours but the clinic confirmed for me bleeding from the nipple is normal during these procedures. I now have bruising around this nipple, but it’s stopped bleeding and doesn’t hurt now, so it’s doing okay.
I’m also still wearing my compression stockings and I will be able to take those off at about 7pm today, and thank god because they’re making me itchy haha.

In terms of what I could warn you of, it would be the following:
Please be aware of stomach cramping and being unable to poop. You shouldn’t strain yourself and cause any further pain or damage your stitches by trying to strain. You might feel a bit sick with all the meds, but personally I have a really really strong stomach, and I haven’t been sick - just a little wave of nausea earlier this morning (doing fine now!).
Because I’m literally less than 24 hours out of surgery, the constipation hasn’t hit me yet but I am NOT looking forward to that lol.
When you read about people saying they’re struggling to breathe - they MEAN it. When I sit up, I’m in a lot of pain, and I literally feel like I can’t breathe, and I get lightheaded. When I’m up on my feet for a few minutes though, I’m fine. The clinic explained this is totally normal and should stop in a few days. (Thank god.)

So, this morning.
All physically looks good, minor bruising so far.
I feel a major difference even when I feel them myself ((not the actual breast, more so the cleavage area. It’s so much thicker and firm - but I know this will calm down and settle))

Now, I’m only 1 day out of post op - not even 24 hours but here is my list of things you need after surgery. I’ll probably update this if I add anything further. I got all of the below from Amazon.
What I got for myself:
- microporous tape for scarring
- painkillers - i personally just ordered standard - Neurofen (ibuprofen) for when I don’t need to take the meds the clinic gave me,
- constipation relief - senna brand,
- V shaped pillow,
- travel pillow - this has been a LIFE saver as I have been sleeping upright,
- dermatix scar gel,
- wipes for the body while you can’t shower,
- Aaaand I’ve just ordered a back scratcher. Trust me, you’re sleeping on your back - your back is gonna get itchy.

Some of these items are arriving for me today, and I’ll be able to use them later in the week.
That’s it so far - if I think of anything else, I’ll add a comment!

I really hope that this will help someone, even one person. Maybe even someone who’s in the same boat as me. Please please feel free to send me a message or leave a comment if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to help. There’s so much more I’m leaving out but I’ll probably add onto this as things progress
