BOTCHED Breast surgery by Dr. Mazen Harake!!!!
After having breast revision surgery done by another doctor who was not Board Certified I lost all faith and trust in Doctor’s. I felt I was doomed to live with the messed up breasts that I now had. I have been chastised by Medical Professionals as well as friends for NOT using a Board Certified Doctor so when Dr. Harake (who just very recently got his Board Certification) told me that he could fix the mess that I had been left with by the other surgeon, I felt comfortable for the first time, he was charming and kept reassuring me that IT WAS CORRECTABLE… WHAT A JOKE!!!! I allowed Dr. Harake to perform a Breast revision in March 2017 that included fat grafting (instead of implants) and he was to also reduce the size of my areolas as they were still the size of silver dollars (huge on a woman that only weights 112 pounds).
The surgery seemed to go well until the steri-strips came off about 3 weeks later and I discovered that my right areola still seemed to be the same size but it was obviously removed and stitched back on, my left areola was smaller than the right (but not by much) and was still miss-shaped, instead of being round IT WAS OVAL!
I immediately complained to Dr. Harake and he kept telling me that it was ok/would be ok when the swelling went down. BULL CRAP… it is now 1 year later and I still have one areola that is way larger than the other one and one that is oval. To add insult to injury I developed severe scarring but only around the Right areola (thick scarring with a star burst pattern). I only retained about 20% of the breast volume from the fat grafting so now my breasts are drooping again and it stretched my areola's out AGAIN!!!
I QUIT…. I WILL NEVER TRUST ANOTHER DOCTOR to touch my breasts again!!!
