Dr Golden is straight forward on what he can and can't change. No false promises are made. Hisbfee is all inclusive and covers everything, including any future revisions. He told me the revision rate was 1 in 8. I never really liked my nose and was self conscious about my profile. He told me at my consultation that I would be a hard patient to make happy since the change would be minor and also told me he couldn't change some of the things I did t like about my nose (how wide it looks when I smile, etc). I had surgery 9/2014. I was super nervous, but the nurse Mary was amazing. I stayed in a nearby hotel, since we traveled and Dr Golden called to check on me a couple times. I saw him the next day and was able to go home. He removed the case a few days later and I loved my profile but was taken back my the swelling..,my nose looked so wide! I was paranoid for the next several weeks about the swelling, but after a month, loved the result! I was so happy that I trusted Dr Golden and went through with the surgery.
Unfortunately, I had an accident the night before a holiday weekend and broke my nose. I called his office (after hour care) and they must have contacted him because he called me back within minutes. He calmed me down and told me what to do. He also called to check on me later that evening. I saw him the next business day and he told me there was too much swelling to tell if it would require revision. He made me promise not to get hast and go somewhere else to have "fixed". Because it would get ruined and that he would fix anything that needed fixed , but I needed to wai 1 year. I went for my revision consult 18 months later and wasn't sure what he would say because I honestly didn't think it looked that bad and I still has a cute profile, but it wasn't as good as it was and I noticed a dark thin bruise across the bridge of my nose that never went away. Dr Golden scheduled surgery. He stood by his word 100% and didn't charge me additional costs, even though the reason for the revision had nothing to do with shortcomings on his part.
The revision went even better than the first (still had to have it broke) and the bruisong/swelling was incredibly minimal. When the cast was removed, virtually all the brushing had subsided. Dr G once again did an amazing job and I was able to go in public without any obvious injury less than a week after surgery. I am so lucky to have found Dr G. He is a true blessing and genuinely cares about his patients.
