3 Weeks Postop
It has now been three weeks and the swelling is gone. Thighs still a bit sore but I am BEYOND thrilled with the results. It is exactly what I hoped for!! I can literally feel my ribs! There is not an ounce of fat on my sides. My thighs look amazing. I am definitely down a full size. It can only get better from here. I would recommend Dr. Masters and SonoBello in Oklahoma City hands down!
Two Weeks Postop
It has now been two weeks since my lipo procedure. I am still very swollen basically everywhere the body suit isn’t. My hands and feet are the worst. I really wonder if the suit isn’t causing the swelling to be worse. SonoBello ordered me a second body suit at my one week postop appointment. It’s different than the first one because it doesn’t have the adjustable eyelets. You have to step into it and pull it on. The open crotch is much better in this one but it’s a pain in the butt to try to put on! I would much rather have the front open and let me close it up once I’m in it. I’m still having to wear it 24/7 and at this point I hate it! The sleeves are even longer and the legs are longer. I think it’s too tight but that’s due to the swelling. I realize it’s a necessary evil, but it’s definitely the WORST part of this whole process. I have started using the lipo roller every day. It definitely hurts at first and then gets better as you go. I have a few lumps and bumps especially under my right breast where the bra roll part was done. I don’t feel any on my sides at all. My thighs are still very tender. I will definitely say I had no idea I would still be hurting two weeks out. This isn’t for the faint of heart, but I can already tell I’m going to LOVE it when I’m fully healed. The bruising is almost gone at this point. The incision sites have scabs over them. I still haven’t been able to count them all. The lady at my consultation said I would only have 6. That’s definitely not true because there are 3 in each thigh. There are many more up and down both of my sides. Dr. Masters definitely did what he needed to to give me the results I wanted!
Day 4 Postop
I got up this morning and removed all bandages. Draining has finally stopped and this body suit is too tight already without adding in bandages. I took the suit off to wash and was able to take a shower and wash my hair. I started getting very light headed towards the end of the shower which then brought on a bad bout of vertigo which then brought on vomiting. Obviously the shower was too much. When they say stay in the suit, they mean it. Doing too much without it on is a no no still at this point. Pain is very manageable without pain meds. I’m a little worried about going to work on Monday, but I have to so hoping today and tomorrow will make all the difference in moving around. Still have to move pretty gingerly at this point.
