Triangular Nostrils Post Rhinoplasty

I don’t have thick skin so at this point, I think this is pretty much final result. There’s still lots of excessive nostril show from the front and my bridge is slightly pulled to the left (photo attached below). After-care is almost non-existent. Bottom line is: a hefty price tag doesn’t guarantee premium results/service.

Triangular Nostrils Post Rhinoplasty

I’m currently almost 3 months post op so maybe my nose will still change but I think most of the swelling has gone and my triangular nostrils are pretty much final. Right after surgery, because of the cast and tapes, I could only see my nostrils from under which look quite nice. I thought it would look nice from the front also and was excited to see my nose at cast off day. However, I noticed my nostrils specifically looked off. I couldn’t put my finger on what was wrong so I brushed it off as swelling.

Every time I look at my nose now, it reminds me of Michael Jackson’s nose. And after doing my research, I figured the culprit was the alarplasty. It made my nostril flaps lose their natural curve and look disconnected - like 2 stubs attached to my face. Some surgeons refer to it as nostril ‘Q’ deformity. This does NOT get better with time.

Overall, I don’t think it’s worth it. For Asian rhinoplasty, I think you better off going to Asia.

I’ll update more at the 1-year mark.

I'm sorry. I have triangular nostrils after surgery as well, although I didn't get an alarplasty. So disappointing.
Feels like it’s getting worse every day. I truly regret getting this done. All it does is making me depressed and more self-conscious. I wish I kept my flat nose
