The clinic was fantastic, even months before the procedure, the staff answered all my questions and helped plan every step from when I landed to when I left.

A few days before surgery I was taken for a check up with the doctor to confirm the decisions I had made and a health check up including a HIV test that I was not able to get in the UK.

I was checked into hospital the day before the surgery and a final round of checks, before being taken to the VIP room; which felt more like a home than a hospital, with every creature comfort provided ( smart TV, microwave, fridge, bathroom, sofa).

After the surgery; while no matter how good conditions are, the procedure and recovery are still torturous and demanding, with constant need for pain killers, antibiotics, and sedatives; and with PPV, not being able to eat for nearly a week can be worse than the pain, as even pain killers won't numb the feeling; and when I was finally able to get up again and go to the bathroom it was agonizing. However the nurses where constantly there to help and even fix problems as small as the needle placement being uncomfortable. But once it's all over with and I left the hospital the next day I almost immediately forgot all the pains I'd been though. I began began diolation, douching, and cleaning immediately after and as I had opted for the care package this was all done for me until I felt ready to take on each responsibility.

Within the following month I had to visit the clinic 4 times for check ups; the check ups could be painful and uncomfortable but nothing compared to the surgery, and since the staff did everything at my pace and if I wasn't ok they'd stop and wait, it was never too difficult during these sessions, and every time I'd leave feeling better after having stitches removed and knowing everything was going well.

After 3 weeks I'm already happy with my progress, with the swelling going down already and being able to walk somewhat comfortably. With even some sensation returning to the area. I feel nothing could have gone better with the care received being the main reason for that.

I feel wound has healed well with only occasional pain, but mostly just stinging and discomfort from the sensation of touch returning to the area. I'm able to walk normally but it can be uncomfortable and stairs can be difficult.

Hello, I have three questions: What made you choose Dr. Teerapong over other doctors? What made you choose the PPT technique over the sigmoid colon technique? How is your vaginal depth?
November 29, 2022
From memory, I chose Dr. Theerapong because of his renowned with PPT method, and his extensive history with MTF SRS without coming across any incidents.

I chose PPT over colon because of a few reasons, while the depth with colon can be greater, it can come with a few more risks as well as it has been known to produce an odour.

However PPT in my case has no odour, with no complications so far. And from anecdotes can be easier to maintain long term, but there's no real research on long term PPT other than a similar method used with cisgender women.

As for depth it wasn't a big consideration for me, but currently I have around 6 inches / 15 cm which is more than enough for me and can easily be maintained with enough willingness.

2 month update

The second month has been a lot slower than the first, and I've had to deal with 2 probably that I didn't really expect, but nothing too major.

The first is a UTI that I didn't realise I had for quite a while and has been quite difficult to get rid of but I am able to get treatment for.

And the second is the cold, it has caused a lot of pain since returning home and set me back about a month purely because it's difficult to spend too long outside without getting sore, but since getting more used to the weather with time it's become less of an issue.

The sensation from the area is still overwhelming for me, but I am slowly getting used it especially more recently as a lot of the swelling as gone down as I move around.

There is sometimes an odour, but I've put this down to both the UTI and douching incorrectly or too much time between douching usually a day and a half.

When indoors I have my most of my full movement back, including light jogging and stretching. But going outside starts to get uncomfortable after 30 minutes ( it's been -1°c so not too surprising)
