My Life Changing Journey With Dr Narendra Kaushik and the Olmec Team

I am Sujit. I am 28 years old and I am from Odisha.
I first realized that I was experiencing gender dysphoria when I was 17 years old. From that point on life was not easy. I faced many emotional and personal challenges while trying to understand myself and move forward. Even through the difficult times I never gave up on becoming the person I always knew I was.
Two years ago I started hormone replacement therapy and it was one of the most important steps in my transition. After careful thought and preparation I decided to undergo gender affirming surgery at Olmec under the care of Dr Narendra Kaushik and his team.
From the very first day I felt like I was with family. Dr Narendra Kaushik was kind patient and supportive throughout the entire process. He answered my questions with honesty and made me feel comfortable and confident about my decision. Every member of the staff treated me with respect care and compassion. They were always available whenever I needed help and they made my stay much easier.
I underwent surgery to remove my female reproductive organs and everything went smoothly. The post operative care I received was excellent. The GDA staff took great care of me every day including helping me with sponge baths while I recovered. Their kindness patience and professionalism made a big difference during my healing process.
I was able to start walking on the ninth day after my surgery which was a huge milestone for me. Every day I noticed progress and my recovery has been going very well. I have felt supported every step of the way and that has given me a lot of confidence during this journey.
Looking back I am grateful for choosing Olmec and Dr Narendra Kaushik for such an important part of my life. This experience has brought me closer to living the life I always wanted. I know there is still a journey ahead but I feel happier stronger and more hopeful than ever before.
