I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care (and outcome) provided by Dr. Dreveskracht. From the start, working with Dr. Dreveskracht felt like a true partnership and collaborative process. During our consult, she outlined all of the available options for gender-affirming top surgery and described the realistic outcomes of each relative to my specific anatomy. Dr. Dreveskracht took the time to fully understand and honor my aesthetic goals, which as a nonbinary person included some requests slightly outside the masculine standards typically associated with top surgery. While these requests were made to seem like a burden with other surgeons, Dr. Dreveskracht listened to what I wanted, and as a board-certified plastic surgeon, she had the skills to make these accommodations rather than taking a cookie cutter approach.

In addition to her surgical skills, one of the best parts of working with Dr. Dreveskracht is her ability to put you at ease in a somewhat daunting medical setting (e.g., the idea of surgery and chest exam can be anxiety provoking). Dr. Dreveskracht’s communication is direct and realistic while remaining supportive and encouraging of your goals. She is responsive and available to answer questions both before and after surgery.
