Finally Feel at Home in my Body!

Dr. Sood was admittedly the only surgeon I met with before deciding he was the one I wanted doing my surgery, and that is because from the very first meeting, I appreciated his bedside manners and confidence. I'm Trans-Masc Nonbinary and wanted Top Surgery/Double Mastectomy before my fast approaching wedding, which I accomplished thanks to Dr. Sood's availability, which was a huge bonus! Some have to wait years for a surgery date, but from start to finish, I got mine within a matter of weeks. It took a bit longer for me because I had a lot of back and forth with my insurance company. Unfortunately, my insurance ended up not covering the procedure, but I thank Dr. Sood and his team for helping me with the appeals and stressful insurance process. The surgery itself went very well, and the healing process went better than I could have imagined. Dr. Sood and his team were available to answer my questions, and overall, the whole process went smoothly. I'm roughly 8 months post op now, and I finally feel at home in my body. As time goes on and as I heal more and more, I love my chest and am so happy I went through with it. My results look great, and I love my scars very much because they're mine!
