I’m not sure about most women’s views on their bodies, but I don’t think I’ve ever been the weight or shape that I was proud of. From a very young age I have been aware of my size and felt the need to diet. Since I can remember I’ve had a tummy roll that I have despised and regardless of my efforts have not been able to get rid of it. I had my 1st child at 19 and my second at 25, now at 42 I am ready to work on being the best version of me (with a little bit of external help). I know I will never be perfect and I am not aiming for it, but I will do what I can with what I have.
I will post pictures when I get closer to my date. Pre-op is set for February 6.
Thanks for reading and if anyone has tips or suggestions for pre and post surgery advice I’d love to hear it. :)

Moving along with all the preparations for surgery on the 15th. Recliner is delivered, grocery shopping is in effect, meds to be picked up, house clean and had my hospital registration processed. They seem to have a lot of overnights for TT, but my doctor doesn’t think that it will be necessary. Keep second guessing this decision and wondering if the universe will let this actually happen. Pictures to come soon.
