Dr. Wu is very professional and kind, spends time discussing procedures including some of the science behind them, which I appreciate. He has a very gentle and peaceful bedside manner. He even humms when doing anything potentially "painful" (like a needle prick) or awkward (like drawing circles on your belly lol). His staff is also very informative, kind, and helps you feel comfortable for consultations, procedures, & follow-ups.

Post procedure - Day 1

ah02018
The procedure yesterday went very well. Really not painful at all. First few minutes after beginning the process the cooling made me feel a little restless but it passed.
1st 35 min was on left upper arm & right lower abdominal, simultaneously. 2nd was 35 min on right arm and & left lower abdominal. About 5-10 min into procedure the L lower abdominal cup came off so the 35 min was restarted on that area.
The “massage” was done with the z-wave. No pain just very loud.
The rest of the day I really felt normal. Left upper arm is a little sore while the right is not at all. Abdomen feels fine, just maybe like I did a few too many crunches but still very very mild.
No swelling.
Almost like nothing happened yesterday!
Plan to take pics at 1, 2, 3, 4,.... week marks.

Just an update on pain/swelling: there is none. When I bump one of my arms or belly I notice I’m mildly “sore” (very mildly—I’ve been way more sore from workouts than this feeling). Left arm is still feeling more mildly sore/numb than right. Skin is still slightly numb. Not uncomfortable at all. No swelling whatsoever that I can notice. A little worried my right arm didn’t get as much suction as the left and that I’ll be asymmetric. Will wait and see.

Eating habits: haven’t changed though I had an event this week and indulged! Planning to balance that out so that my weekly caloric intake is still about the same.

Exercise: haven’t worked out yet due to work schedule but have done walks with the dog. Resuming workout regimen (calisthenics/light weight training 3x/week + walk/LISS cardio 5-6x/week) today.
