I'm 26. My son is 2. I gained 90 pounds during my pregnancy. After the weight loss and breastfeeding, I have lost so much volume in my breast and suffer severe sagging. I am having a lift using the lollipop method and anywhere from a 350-400 cc gel implants inserted under the muscle. The goal is a youthful appearance.

Pre op appointment was 6/2. Wish the doc would have told me which size we are going with! Guess I'll find out in the morning. Office staff is nice. Doc is very direct. Will update after surgery

Day of treatment
Today was the big day! Breast lift w 375cc implants
Today was the day! I got to the Torrance location at 9:20am. Waited in the lobby for 15mins and then the nurse took me back. I did a urine pregnancy test - negative, then blood pressure was excellent. The Doctor Linda Swanson came in, marked up the breast, and confirmed what I was looking for in size. (I told her a full C)
Right after the anesthesiologist came in, walked through step by step, shared risks, etc. From there(10:30am), it was onto the the operating room to insert IV. All I remember after that is waking up in the recovery room at 12:30pm. Nurse asked me to rate discomfort from 1-10. I said 7, she administered pain meds through IV. Around 1:45pm, I was wheeled out to my friend's car.

Yesterday, I relied heavily on pain meds - taking every 4 hours. At bedtime I took an Ambien, I slept 4 hours then found myself back in the kitchen for meds. I was prescribed Percocet & promethazine, Ambien, zafirlukast, and cephalexin(aka keflex)

Today feels better. I make sure I take my meds on time, taking tomorrow off as well. The hardest thing has been not being able to pick my son up. Thursday 6/11 I go to my 1st post op appointment. I haven't took off the surgical bra. I peaked at my boobs and my nipples are protruding already, kinda excited about that! lol, not ready to look at the horizontal incisions yet tho. Will update pictures on June 22, 2 weeks post op.

6 days post op breast lift w gel implant
My boobs feel so natural! I'm happy I decided to pay the $1000 extra and get the gel implants. The positioning of the nipple is great and the upper fullness is amazing. I went into doc office for my 1st post op appt on Thursday June 11. It was really quick. Dr. Swanson unsnapped my surgical bra, looked at the incisions, and replaced the gauze. She asked me to return early next week so we can talk next steps like showering, massaging, which bras to wear when. I have to take zafirlukast the longest and get refills. (which sucks because its $99 per refill for the next 2 months.)
I will also advice to those saving for surgery to put a little stash away for the random expenses like Rx your insurance won't cover, lab work, gas and time off to go to appointments, prepared meals, and help for the first 3 days if you have children.
My nipples are itching! my only complaint...lol

Thanks for sharing your story. I see that your surgery is coming up and suggest that you check in on this surgery calendar so you can get support from others getting their procedures around the same time. Did you want to add your doctor's name to your review also?
