I SO remember being sequestered, swollen and in pain last year this time. I am so happy to report that it was SO WORTH IT. I’d do it again in a heartbeat, zero hesitations.
What I’m feeling:
-I still am numb on my right outer thigh. My surgeon suspects it’s a stitch that hit a nerve, and we can easily fix it. I’m not concerned (I’ll fix it when I re-do my boobs)
-the area of the middle of my stomach, from my belly button down to my incision is numb. This my take another year to resolve, or it may never. I can live with it.
-I do have a tiny dogear on my right side. Again, I’ll fix when I do my boobs. Dr. Bray says he can fix it at any time.
Overall I’m beyond thrilled. My weight is stable, but I also work out lifting weights 3/5 times per week. It takes genuine effort. At almost 42 years old, my confidence is through the roof. Thank you, Dr. Bray!!!!

Is that really me??
Sometimes, I have to pinch myself!! I have ZERO regrets about this surgery, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Every ounce of recovery pain was worth it. (Excuse the background of the pics! Lol)
