WORTH IT$7,000
I hate my tattoo. Ever since I got it i've been depressed about it. When I left the tattoo clinic my first thought was that I had just ruined my life. If I only had a time machine. I've spent probably $7000.00 to remove this piece of crap, that cost me $400 to put on. Major regret, but i'm trying to remain hopeful. I've had about 8 treatments on a med light and I have just gone for my first treatment with the Picosure. My tattoo has recalcitrant colours, like pink! And i've been to 3 different clinics. The first technician scarred me. The other place I went to provided me with the worst customer experience, I'd wait two-three hours to be treated. Price was cheap, but not worth the wait. I now purchased an unlimited package for $5000.00 with the Picosure laser. I got a financial loan to cover this. As far as i'm concerned it's just money and if it will take away this depression that I endure every time I look in the mirror or see someone else with beautiful skin and a beautiful back its well worth it. I've gone for my first treatment with the Picosure and I find that my skin looks a little bit brown. Im worried that this will be permanent hyperpigmentation. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this ? Does it go away? Pain is minimal, maybe because i'm so used to it now.

How long have you been leaving between sessions? I've experienced pigmentation problems also, but it does improve. It looks like you've made great progress and you're almost ink free. You could perhaps benefit from a long layoff from the laser, as in six plus months, and then seen how things are looking? Also, there are topical agents you can apply to speed up the lightening of the hyperpigmentation.

Thank you for your comment! I have been having sessions done every 2-3 months for the past two years. The brownish colouring on my skin I only noticed on my last session which was done on a Picosure laser. That was my first experience with the Picosure. I heard only good things about that laser so now i'm worried. I know this is a long process, the thought of waiting longer between sessions is painful to digest because I just want this ugly thing off my body. But I agree with you that a layoff has been known to have its benefits. I've never used any creams before for hyperpigmentation. But i'm definitely going to do some research on that and get on it ASAP.

I am about to embark on tattoo removal journey - also in TO. Had 4 consultations... Wondering who scarred you and who gave you treatment you were satisfied with? I'm so scared to do this...

The person who scarred me was a technician that worked at a plastic surgery clinic that had to close because the doctor passed away, dr. Middletons... Then went to dr. Hong on sheppard very affordable but bad customer service. Now I've had one treatment at Precision laser. The girl is very knowledgeable and it's affordable and the best laser technology located at king and Yonge area. It's a long commitment and depends on the tattoo. You should go for a consultation. What does your tattoo look like? For me I would rather have this thing off my body and it's the only solution right now. No other option unfortunately. My progress impresses more more as time goes by. It keeps fading slowly but it could take several years.

Mine is all black. Some areas are colour blocked so I know it'll be a long and daunting process. I went for four consults and so far, my first choice is Baywood but I would like to speak to someone who was treated there before I start the process.

Look around and see who is using the Quanta Q Plus C laser. You may be much more satisfied and less injured in the end. But be patient and give it the year or 2 or more you may need to have the results you want.

I found one person using Quanta Q. Why do you suggest it? Did you undergo treatment with it and if so, are you happy with the results?

Looking into being an owner/provider/tech for laser removal. Have researched many machines. I have received very positive feedback from users, not patients/clients and they have had very favorable results with their clients. These providers have used others in the past and are replacing or have replaced with the Quanta. You should at least research the results from the provider using it and find out what they used prior and their comparison. There seems to be a lot of positive feedback here for the PicoSure. A suspicious amount for that matter. Google PicoSure results from the internet, in addition to this site and see other feedback. I've seen some scary results based on feedback in general from other sites and the internet as well. Burning, scarring, etc. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of successes for the Pico. My daughter had a removal done over a 2 year period with 99+% results from the Quanta. Zero burning, Zero scarring, just a good experience. But you have to be patient with any removal and be sure the provider has experience with whatever laser they're using. 2 different providers can give you 2 different results and experiences with the same machine. Hope that answers your question. Good luck

Was her removal in Toronto and, if so, where did she get it done? Trying to find trustworthy testimonials since there isn't a lot out there...
