SculpSure is Horrible and Side Effects Need to Be Told More Accurately.

$754
When I decided to do SculpSure I did the basic research and spoke to practitioners. It seemed completely not envasive but out of my price range. When I found a decent deal I went for it and regret the hell of my decision and for not digging deeper. I found the procedure itself extremely painful, and was annoyed when I was told I must have low pain tolerance. I’ve been through a lot and have handled some extreme surgeries (cancer survivor). The reviews and videos I watched were nothing like my experience, it wasn’t the heat that hurt, it was the actual attachments and how tightly I felt strapped on, I was uncomfortable from the beginning and it got worse. I did not feel a cooling sensation, I could feel the heat go down but still felt like my stomach was being sucked out and pushed in at the same time. I couldn’t walk after and took a week off from work. It hurt to move and hurt to lay down. Open chest surgery to remove a massive tumour was a walk in the park compared to this. I have huge nodules that won’t go away from the procedure, and keep being told I’m an exception. I am not the exception because this seems pretty common now that I’m looking into it. Im also tired of being told I will get great results and those nodules are good. I’m pissed off that people are claiming you can go to the gym after when I could barely move. My body is not that different from everyone else. My pain tolerance can’t be that extreme. I see no results. I have hard lumps on my stomach and have a feeling they will be around for a long time and may need to be removed by having surgery. A lot of people are having the same issues I am but no one is taking these issues seriously. I’ve contacted SculpSure and they won’t talk to me and tell me to talk to my doctor. They won’t provide details of their studies or anything. Don’t do it unless you are willing to have lumps on your body. Personally I’d rather have some extra fat.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Do you have pics of the lumps? Are they small nodules or large pockets of hardened fat? I wonder if RF or infrared treatments with massage might work? You may even find a dry sauna or body wrap might help... I'm not a doctor though, and I'm just thinking of things I would probably try in your situation. That is really terrible though. I'm so sorry!
Thank you I’m sorry too. I have swelling and fat around the area so not visible, but very very noticeable to the touch. They are very hard, about 3 inches and oval. I have a feeling it’s not even fat. I can’t afford any treatments right now and scared anything supposedly safe I try will make it worse. I don’t even care that there are no results, that was a risk I was willing to take. I’m upset it was not told how painful and persistent side effects would be.
I had SculpSure done on my flabby upper arms and I was so painful. The cooling part was the best part of it because it was burning me and it felt like needles and I actually felt like a tingling of hurt going on my under arms near my breast it went that far out the pain. The pain was horrible they should tell people that it hurts because it does. When I went home one of my arms had a big lump on it so I was massaging it and drinking a lot of water but the pain is still there I have a week now of post-op and it still very Sensitive and painful to the touch and I still have that big lump. I’m going to keep massaging and drinking lots of water and hopefully in a couple of weeks it will go away.
I’m so sorry you had a horrible experience as well. I’m starting to think the lumps aren’t even fat, but our body defending whatever we just did to it. They seriously need to tell people that pain is high and common, and that they don’t know the exact side effects and how permanent they are. Seems like the only people who don’t experience pain are practitioners and people being paid to write a review. Hope your lumps go away. I’m going on 5 months with no improvement.
I also found it extremely painful- like end stages of labor painful! I had swelling and nodules for 5 months, however, they did finally go away and the area I treated is slimmer now. I do think the amount of pain experienced is WAY underplayed. I also think some people have more sensitivity to this kind of thing, as I tend to have a high pain tolerance in general.
I’m glad yours went away and you noticed results!!!! Mine are still the same size though.
That's awful. I literally massaged mine every day- and although the swelling/nodes are gone, I still have pain! Oh, the price of vanity... :(
Yea that shiz is painful as heck! I don’t know why they claim it’s painless. It was so bad I wanted to puke.
I ended up suing the company that did the treatment, and won. Company still provides the service and clams no side effects and pain free. It’s been 3 years, I still have the nodules, although they are small now and I can only feel them if I push down on my stomach. Before someone would hug or touch me and say, “oh, what’s that?” Lol
Have you tried massaging the nodules? You’re supposed to massage the area 5-10 min twice a day so the nodules go down.
I know I have a morning, noon(on my lunch sitting in my truck) and massage gun at night beside I can grab it and roll it around like a straw for 3 months and still have my huge fat nodule that I call a log.
