First off, I’d like to preface my comments by stating I have no affiliation to Dr. Marc Dupere or the Visage Clinic, other than as a recent patient. Generally, I do not take the time to offer reviews of feedback on my experiences, but I felt that it was important to share with others my experience with Dr. Marc Dupere and the Visage Clinic.
I needed to have a unique procedure performed and this time around, I insisted upon having a highly reputable, highly talented and experienced cosmetic surgeon perform the work. I spent hours on the Internet researching cosmetic surgeons in Ontario, as I was willing to travel further for quality service that I could be confident with. Cosmetic surgery is not something you want to regret in retrospect, so I was very cautious during the research and selection phase of my cosmetic surgeon recruitment. During my exhaustive search, I found 2 doctors in Ontario that I was willing to consult with, one of which was Dr. Marc Dupere. Marc is a “Board Certified Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon” which is a very reputable accreditation, and I believe only a few cosmetic surgeons have such accreditation in Ontario. I spent time reviewing Marc’s educational background and credentials and I was blown away. I decided this was the man I wanted to consult with regarding my unique procedure.
Marc is a very nice man and he is highly skilled, but it is his responsiveness that I most appreciate about him. He is so dedicated to his patients. I sent him an initial email and picture of my concern. Unbelievably, within an hour he emailed me back and indicated a confidence that he could help me. I met with him in Richmond Hill, one of his two Visage locations, and was very impressed by the clinic itself and Marc’s team of professionals. Upon meeting Dr. Marc himself, I was very impressed. He is not arrogant like many doctors, nor does he rush his patients. I was so impressed by how generous this very busy doctor was with his time patiently answering my many questions while providing brilliant insight.
During the procedure, Marc really made me feel at ease. Afterwards, he could not have been more helpful. He even gave me his personal cell phone number in the event I had a concern. I sent him two emails in the subsequent weeks, both of which he responded to in very short order. As I said, his responsiveness is incredible. In retrospect, I could not be happier with both my selection of surgeon and the work performed. Dr. Dupere is an amazing talent and a wizard with the stitches to say the least. At this point, I consider him a friend more than a doctor and you won’t likely find too many Board Certified, highly skilled and experienced surgeons you could say that about.
