WORTH IT$7,237
I've never thought my nose suited my face. As I am someone with a very small face I felt my nose what too large and took away from all my other features. Being two weeks post-op I can say it was the best decision I've ever made. I am confident in saying my nose not only suits my face, but works better then before. I had zero pain immediately and remained that way through my recovery (with a little help from the pain meds for the first two days). I had a great experience and I would recommend the procedure to anyone interested in rhinoplasty.

Before and After
I was sceptical to post a before and after considering I hate looking at the before, but I'm so in love with the after result I don't mind sharing. The pictures on the right are pictures I took on the morning of my surgery and the pictures I took on the left were 1 week post-op pretty much immediately after the cast was taken off.

who did your surgery? are you happy with the results?

Dr. Jamil Asaria in Toronto, ON - and I couldn't be happier with my results, best decision I've ever made.

Thank you! I am meeting 2 doctors soon and he is one of them :) if not a secret, how much did you end up paying?
October 26, 2016
That's awesome congrats! In the end the total cost I paid was 9,460 Canadian dollars - I just kept in mind it's easier to pay more then to get a cheaper and potentially botched rhinoplasty lol but it was worth every penny!

That's not too bad, I am expecting the price to be in that range. Sorry to bug you, just really want to hear from someone who has gone through it :) how soon were you able to go back to work/studies? I am planning to work from home after the surgery.. Are you even functional the next day or a day after that?
October 26, 2016
Its no trouble at all, I love talking about and helping anyone who was in a similar position to me. For me personally the first two days I was pretty lethargic, I did get up and move around a lot but for the most part I just wanted to lay in bed and rest, but I was totally functional watching tv, eating, doing some work off my phone(kinda felt as if I was home with a cold since breathing out of my nose was off an on), after the second day I was more able to function normally. I went back to work after two weeks but for me I felt completely normal 5 days post op except for the cast on my nose and slight yellowish bruising under my eyes. For the first couple days I would just relax and rest but it all depends how you feel personally

You look amazing! My hesitation is the recovery time. How long before I can interact with people WITHOUT them wondering if I just had surgery? I can take vacation time up to 3-weeks and wondered how much bruising and swelling might still exist.
October 26, 2016
Thank you! I had the same hesitations and because my surgery was extensive I expected the worst and I was told my bruising was going to be severe. That being said I had minimal bruising. The worst was I had a little spot of dark bruising on my eyelid as soon as I woke from surgery but other then that my bruising was very minimal and was totally gone by the time my cast came off (one week from surgery). My after picture was exactly one week from surgery and an hour after my cast came off, to help with my bruising two weeks before my surgery I started taking arnica pellets, and I continued for another week after my surgery(you can find them at a health food store and they are all natural) I truly believe that taking those pellets helped tremendously with my pain, swelling and bruising, even the surgeon was impressed with how well I recovered. The only swelling I received was under my eyes and the bridge and tip of my nose. My eye area lasted about a week. I only took two weeks off but I feel as if that was all I needed because after two weeks I was fine and no one really noticed the change except for close friends and family. I hope this helps if you have anymore questions or concerns just let me know!

Your results look amazing! I'm highly considering the same surgeon for a possible rhinoplastly, he really seems to know what he's doing by the results you have had. I too feel my nose is too large for me face. Would love to see your post up a few months down the road! I may be in touch for some support if I go ahead with it

Research is key, go talk to a lot of doctors because you'll get a better sense of who you feel most comfortable with. The second I met with Dr. Asaria I knew I would be choosing him and I'm so glad I did! He's not just a surgeon he's an artist, and he's very meticulous! I'll post an updated picture and I'd love to give you support! That's what I'm here for :)

You look gorgeous! You were a beautiful girl before but now your nose balances out your face and your eyes are the main focus.

4 months post-op!
I'm currently sitting at the 4 months post-op mark and I'm feeling great. Not too much to report but day by day minimal swelling is going down, you can barely see my incisions (I had an open rhinoplasty) and that's about it. I don't even remember that I've had the surgery, I'm 100% over the moon with the results :) the only thing that's changed is my hair lol

You look amazing! Also love your hair

One of the best I've seen. I'm currently looking for a surgeon myself as I have a bulbous tip and the way yours turned out is my ideal nose.

Thank you so much, that means a lot. Research is key, talk to as many surgeons as it takes till you know who you feel comfortable with. And always make sure you discuss the plan with your surgeon of what you're looking to change and what results they can give you. After talking to Dr. Asaria (my surgeon) I knew he was the best choice for the job and his line of communication made me feel so much better. If you need anything don't hesitate to let me know :)

What did you specifically ask him to do for your tip? I have a bulbous tip too and am in love with your subtle tip refinement. I am considering going to the same doctor because I love your tip so much!

Firstly, thank you so much! I really appreciate that, I'm so in love with the outcome!
Secondly, when I met with Dr. Asaria I talked to him about all the things I didn't like, dorsal bump, bulbous tip and overall size in comparison to my face and he told me all the things he would change and what he thought would be the best outcome to suit my face. Rhinoplasty isn't an exact science and not ever doctor can achieve what they promise. I personally think he is the best at what he does, he is very detailed oriented and meticulous with his work! I defiantly think a consult with him is worth it! Keep me posted if you do decide to book with him I'd love to hear about it!
