It's been 2 years since the revision and my nostrils are still very asymmetric. It looks terrible. The damage has been done and it cant be reversed.

I can't believe these are the results. Look at how messed up my nostrils are. I did not pay for this.

Wow, I'm sorry. Have you looked into another surgeon? In the USA, we have financing options like CareCredit (not sure if I can mention the companies by name...), maybe Canada has something similar. Anyway, thanks for your review and posting your photos.

I have, it will cost at least $4,000.00 plus taxes to put in a composite graft in the right nostril to bring down the nostril.

I just want to say thank you for being brave and posting your review. My septoplasty to fix a deviated septum and bifid tip had a similar outcome, with nostrils that are two noticeably different shapes and sizes, and I will have to travel quite far to get a revision as no one can take it on in my area. It is unfortunate and shameful that surgeons do not reimburse for this type of result, and I know how emotionally and financially distressing it is to have to fix their mistakes. Thank you again, and I wish you all the best as you move forward from this.

I wish i knew what i know now, and picked a different surgeon. The damage has been done, and i have to live with the results. I can't afford to have it fixed by a different surgeon. If he can live with knowing he made such a mess of someone's nose, then i feel sorry for future patients

Hi, I hope you're doing well. Have you thought about fillers to minimize the asymmetry? I understand that they can lower the rim of the nostril and they can add volume to your bridge to achieve more symmetry.

I have, but the surgeon i'm currently consulting with said fillers wouldn't help much. The composite graft in the right nostril is the best option.

I also want you to know that I told this doctor that, because of what happened with you, I would not pursue anything with him and that I think he should help you. The more of us that do that the better.

That's so nice of you to do that for me, I really appreciate it. I've come to the realization that i'll have to live with the results. I can't let it keep bothering me, i have to move on. I would not have gone through with the surgery if i knew i would end up like this...lesson learned.

So sorry to see that you got disappointing results. I'm a guy as well, two surgeries in and my last one was supposed to go well, but the surgeon completely changed my nose---so now, I'm going to chance it with another revision sometime within the next few months. Very devastating. I feel for you man! All the best!

This guy ruined my nose. I can't believe how he messed it up so badly. I should never have let him cut my alar rim.
